Val's POV-

The sun shinned brightly in my face as I opened my eyes. I quickly closed them and waited for them to readjust. When I opened my eyes, I saw max was gone and there were some bags on the floor. I crawled out of the bed and stretched my arms and legs. A low moan slipped out as I stretched my arms behind me.

I adjusted the large t-shirt and went on a search for Matt. Down the hall, I heard water running and assumed he was in the shower. I opened the door to where the water was coming from, and stepped into a stem filled room. I pulled off my clothing and opened the glass door to the shower. He turned around shocked at first, but then seemed relived. "Hope you don't mind sharing" I said stepping and shutting the door behind me. He said "Of course not" and grabbed my waist. He pulled me close to him and leaned into my ear. "You just need to remember; what's yours is mine, and what's mine is yours"

I took his hint and pushed my body against his. I looked at his face and saw his hair was covering his yes. I leaned in a kissed him with passion. He immediately kissed back and his hands traveled down to my butt cupping each cheek. I released a low moan and deepened the kiss. He pulled way and said "This can't be, you have to go." I looked at him a bit shocked and said "what do you mean?" "My ex called and she wants me back. You're beautiful and all, but we have history, and that's more important."

I looked at him and the only thoughts that ran through my head were "This isn't true" I continued to stare at him silence, the only sound of the water hit the tile floor of the shower. "I-I-I" "Just leave. There are some bags on the floor with clothes for you in my room. Get dressed and leave. He shut off the water and got out the shower. I continued to sand there, torn over the fact that yet ANOTHER man left me. What is wrong with me?

I decided I better leave and went to his room to grab the clothes. I slipped on the t-shirt, jeans and shoes that were in the bag. I went to front door and he was nowhere in sight. I didn't know whether or not to say goodbye, so I shut the door and walked out into the abrasive wind.

Abel's POV-

"This is as far as I can take you" My driver said pulling up to a bar. I handed him a twenty and said thanks. I got out the car and noticed it was raining. I pulled my hood over my head and quickly walked into the bar. When I got in, i pulled of my hood, and took in the scenery around me. There all sorts of things hung on the wall and it was dimly lit with a few hanging lights. There were about 3 men in there; two at the bar counter and on siting in the corner, knocked out . I walked over to the counter and took a seat. The bartender walked over and said "what do you want?" "Give me your strongest stuff" I responded. He grunted a little and walked away. A few seconds later, he came back with a shot glass filled with a clear liquid. With no questions asked, I shot it down my throat and it burnt all the way down. It was extremely strong, and gave me a head rush. "Give me three more" I said. He set down three more glasses and I took them straight to the head. I felt all feeling leave my body and my limbs felt like noodles. I felt woozy and dizzy. I pulled out my phone to call someone to pick me up, bu it dropped out of my hand. I bent down to pick it up and fell face first on the floor.

My legs were too numb to work, and I just lay there feeling like I was I midair. I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist and hoist me back onto my seat. My body began to tremble and I felt light headed. A few seconds later, all that surrounded me was darkness.

Val's POV-

"Another one" I asked the bartender, my voice as shaky as my hands. I picked up the few shot glasses that littered my table and sucked out every drop. My mind craved more of the toxin but my body rejected the thought of one more sip. The bartender put the glass down and said "Are you ok?" "Yeah, I'm fine" I said while raising the glass in m trembling hands to my lips. That shot made my body feel weightless. At first I was unaware of where I was, but a few second later my blood felt hot and my skin began to sweat. I fumbled in my purse and pulled out a couple bills and put them on the counter.
