Abel's POV-

"He's what you want, I'm what you need"

I sang, words pouring out of me with full emotion. I looked out into the vast area if empty seats, imagining all of them filled with my fans, cheering me on.

My daydream was interrupted when I saw a woman dressed in black walk in with her head down. Her blonde hair covered her face and she walked slowly, as if she was studying every part of the floor. She walked down the aisle stopping about five from the back and sat down. I continued to sing, watching her in mystery. She slowly began to raise her head looking at me as I slowly paced on the stage while singing. I couldn't make out any features of her besides her blonde hair and red lips. She sat, still as a tree, watching me and listening to me. I kept my eyes on her as the song switched to Thursday.

When the chorus began, she slowly stood up and walked out with her head held high. Confused and dazed by her mystery, I stopped signing and tired to figure it out. A few seconds later, the music stopped and I heard one of the techs over the intercom say "Everything ok?" I have him a thumbs up, signaling I was fine, but I continued to stare at the door where the mystery woman had walked through. "Ok, you can take five" I heard the tech say. I heard his words, but didn't move.

"Aye, Abel." I snapped out my daydream and turned to my right and saw it was Cash. "You okay?" he asked. I nodded and walked off stage quickly. I heard for my dressing room unsure if what else to do. I walked in and saw Hawk laying on the couch and on his phone. On the wooden coffee table, there were a bouquet of flowers and a letter beside. "Who's this from?" I asked Hawk. His kept his attention on his phone and said "Valerie."

When her name left her lips my heart began to beat at a a million miles per mintute. "V-v-valerie?" I stumbled out. "Yeah oh and by the way Valerie came by." All of his attention was on his phone and I wanted to curse him out so bad. I figured my words would have no effect so I flicked him off and cursed him inside my head.

I looked down at the pink and white flowers in the table along side the letter written on off white paper. I slowly picked up the letter, my heart beating quickly. I looked down at her her neat writing and began to read.

"I know you said I couldn't we couldn't see each other till after tour... But I miss you Abel. I miss the feeling of you next to me. I miss talking to you. I miss laughing with you. I miss your warm embraces. I miss your lips on mine.

I know this won't change how you feel but just know I miss you, more than I thought I would ever would. I know we've had our ups and downs, but we always resolve it.

I just want you back with me.

Love, Val."

When I finished reading I continued to stare at the paper. The words continued to run through my head. Did she truly miss me that much. My mind then transferred over the mystery blonde. As if he was reading my mind, Hawk said "Valerie also had blonde hair and was dressed in black ... Weird."

When those words left his mouth, my heart literally stopped. I dropped the letter on the ground and ran out the dressing room. I ran outside and to the front of the building. I saw her standing against the brick wall, her now blonde and short hair pushed behind her ear revealing her beauty. Her black makeup was smeared across her cheeks as if she was crying. I don't what to do. Shocked that she was here, I started walking toward her. When I was in spitting distance, she looked up at me like a deer caught in headlights. I continued toward her and she just started at me.

"Valerie." Her name barely escaped my lips in a low whisper before she took off. She walked off quickly her black heels clicking against the sidewalk. I chased after her, feeling dazed, as if this wasn't really happening. "No Val! come back!" I cried out to her. She continued to leave, moving faster and faster. She whipped her head in my direction, took one final look at me, then left. My feet suddenly stopped beneath me.
