A little background on this, this is a true story that happened today, and I have never read the last book in the Divergent series.
-at lunch with 4 friends in a discussion about books-
Friend: I remember when Friend 2 read Divergent, they kept complaining about how its so cliche and all.
Me: Well to be honest though I have to agree with that.
[friends 1, 2, and 3 agree]
Friend: In Allegiant, the ending was supposed to tug at your heartstrings but it really didn't.
Me: I hope the main character dies in the last book.
[friends 1, 2, and 3 just kind of look at me and stare]
Me: Wait.
