I walked into school with my bag on my shoulder and earphones in my ears. I walked the halls with my head held straight ahead of me, to my locker. Some of the serpents watched me with a look of jealousy or annoyance.
I took out my books and went into my classroom. I ignored the students and there intense stares and went straight to my seat. I opened my book and started just reviewing.
I intend to ace these SAT's and make my father proud. I'm also gonna apply to college with Kyon, I'm still gonna go through with my plans I had for summer but the only difference now is that I have to worry about what comes after.
I'm planning on talking to Kyon about it to let him know. I also have to talk to him about his family because my parents want them over for dinner.
"Oh hell no God must be coming" I heard John say. I looked up to see him looking at me drawing everybody's attention.
"I know right, hell must done froze over" I shifted my gaze to Shonda.
"Liza. Studying? You for real?" John asked causing everyone to laugh, I looked back at my book and continued to read.
"Looks like that push she got knocked some sense in her" Shonda laughed.
"Yall want me ta knock some in yall asses too" I looked up to see Kyon and smiled.
"Stay the fuck away from ha or I can help you do dat" he looked back and forth from Shonda and John.
"Whateva" they both went to their seats.
"Thanks" I said as he took a seat beside me.
"Ya welcome, Morning love" he kissed my forehead.
"Morning babe" I turned to him closing the book I was reading.
"So umm I got something's to talk to you about"
"Wassup?"
"My parents wanted you to come over for dinner"
"You told them we're official?"
"Yup and now they want you over for dinner"
"Okay dats cool"
"You and your family"
"Oh I uhh I'll ask em"
"Okay good"
"Wat was dat Otha thing ya wanted ta talk bout?"
"I'll wait until lunch time" I answered seeing out teacher walk in.
"Okay baybeh" I leaned over and pecked his cheek.

"Yup I can't wait to just have you all to myself" I sat down on the ground.
