Liza stood behind Kyon in the gym watching the  boys play basketball. It was their last period  before lunch and they had a free class. Liza had her arms hugged around his waisted from behind just clinging on to him.

Unlike Kyon Liza had noticed that Shonda sat on the bleachers watching them. She had noticed them wearing the rings and she did not like it. Liza chuckled at face expression not caring about how she felt.

"Why you laughin'?"

"Why you laughin'?"

"Your girlfriend don't like how our rings look"

"Who?" he looked around until his eyes landed on her "Oh"

"I don't understand why you even messed with her."

"Ion unda'stand either"

"So umm was the sex good?"

"Why does it matter?" He turned in her arms.

"It don't, it's just a question" she looked up at him.

"Well since it's just a question and it don't matter I ain't gonna answer" he shrugged his shoulders.

"Chill I just wanted to know" she removed her arms

"Why?"

"Cuz-"

"Ya ready for the dinner?" He cut her off not wanting to discuss the topic anymore since the guilt was eating him up.

"I don't know I'm scared, happy, anxious, nervous"

"Me too"

"Like what if they don't change their minds about me"

"Well I don't think they're the same cuz look at it, they kicked me out over some shit my pops caused. I'm pretty sure as soon as he let em know they'll stop and feel some form of remorse for this shit"

"And what about our promise rings-"

"It's a promise not an engagement. But when people ask us we should say engagement" he pecked her lips.
