            Jaime’s Point of View

Mad – that would be the only thing that Allison is feeling for me now but I don’t regret what I did. I don’t regret that I let her in and surprised her, I don’t regret that I played a song with her, I don’t regret that I kissed her, that I love her. What happened here is just the supernova of how I feel.

She’s my best friend for so many years and now she might be scaring herself from me. A total idiot that I am for not even having the guts to admit it. Now that she’s gone, I will never have this chance again so I made up myself. I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror. I composed myself and go.

I followed her but not that close. I was meters away from my Princess as she walks to nowhere. She looks scared and lost but she continues walking away. Occasionally, she looks back and I was so fortunate that she’s never getting any glimpse of me. I look like a stalker with my actions. I’m not stalking her, I want to apologize! Or maybe tell her the truth? I silently think of what to say as I follow her.

Allison, I’m sorry for being an asshole lately. I just –

Allison, I want to tell you something that’s been bothering me for a long time –

Allison, I’ll be frank –

NO! Chris peeked into my mind. What would he say if he knew? And what would he do if he finds out that we kissed? This is the most complicated thing I’ve been throughout my whole life and if I fight for her things will be different. Just like Martha hating on me. Allison might as well hate me in no time.

My phone in my pocket vibrates. I picked it up.

“Chris?”

“My folks are gone. Are you and Allie home? I’ve tried to call her so many times but she’s out of coverage. Are you with her or did you send her home?” Chris blurts out.

Oh shit, this is the hardest part.

“Uh, hang on Chris. Listen to me very carefully, okay? I’m near the town proper and I need you here, now. We have to talk about something and we need to fix things.”

“What? Why?” he sounds confused and he should be.

“Just be here. I’ll be waiting.” And I pressed the end button.

Okay, breathe Jaime. Should I tell him what happened back there? He’ll be furious and there’s no way I can stop him from killing me. I probably won’t so I just took my attention back to Allison. She was walking on the parking lot near a noodle house.

A familiar figure of a man wanders slowly to her.

Billy!

She faces her and to my surprise, she’s not afraid of him. She and Billy had a history where he had a crush on her before but she doesn’t like him because of his bad drinking habits he carries even to school. He once asked her to date him but she refused and that may be why he hated on her when there’s not even a tiny little reason to. He and his girlfriend Carline – the bitch who always wears her skirt and her sleeveless top with a shinning shoal on her neck. I wonder doesn’t her shoal tangle too tightly around her neck?

As I was saying, now she’s here, entering the scene. I can’t help but watch them.

“Jaime!”

Chris! What a perfect timing, Allie’s on danger. “Come!”

I pulled him to my hiding spot and we both can witness what the two evils do; until I can’t stop myself any longer. I launched myself running towards Billy and knocked him three consecutive times in his face while Chris catches Allison just in time before she closes her eyes.
