[¥]Chapter 7[¥]

I stretched my tired body allowing the thin blanket to fall exposing the white tank top I had slept in. I glanced over at my night stand in see that my small black digital clock flashed the time; 6:04 p.m. I still had enough time to get ready for tonight. I threw the blanket off me completely--exposing my booty shorts I had changed into before crawling into bed—placing my bare feet on the cool wooden floor. I stretched both hands high above my head to fully wake myself up. I walked over to my black and gray stereo, on top of my dresser, and turned it on so I could get the process moving a little faster. I then looked threw my closet and found me the perfect outfit to wear to the movies. My baby blue and pink plaid shorts, with my pink Happy Bunny tank top; displaying the bunny in the middle and the words I’m Not Stuck Up at the top, followed by When You’re This Awesome People Just Assume You Are at the bottom.
After laying it out on my bed along with my underclothes, I stripped until I was standing in my room fully naked and wrapped my towel around me. I turned the radio up a bit and went to my connecting bathroom; leaving the door open for the music to filter in. I turned the shower on getting it to my liking before I dropped my towel and stepped inside. I allowed the hot steamy water wash away the memories of what happened earlier today. I made sure to scrub my lips raw until I was sure the feel of Jason’s lips touching mine was completely gone. I then turned the hot water down a bit and began washing the rest of my body. Once I was done, I dried off completely then sat on the toilet seat and began to put lotion on. I wrapped the towel around my naked body and walked back into the room to get dressed. I checked the time and seen I had spent more time in the shower than I had intended to. I only had fifteen minutes to get dressed and ready before Kelly got there.
“Well, looks like I wont be doing anything to this hair of mine.” I said to myself as I pulled on my baby blue lace bra and matching panties. Just as I reached for my shorts, I heard a knock on the door. I threw the shorts back onto the bed and wrapped the towel back around me.
“One minute!” I called out. I opened the door thinking it was either my mother or father telling me that Kelly was here. I took a quick glance back at the clock and seen he was only five minutes early. Instead I was greeted by Kelly himself. When I opened the door, his facial expression had changed. He looked a little upset, as if something was bothering him and he had his head down. But when he looked up at me, I could see the playfulness creeping back into his eyes, as he gave off a slight smirk.
I had forgotten that I had a towel wrapped around me. “You’re early.” I said snapping him out of his imagination; his eyes continued their x-ray exploration until they landed on my face. He gave me one last smile before the playfulness was now replaced by the same expression he wore when I first opened the door.
“Thought I would come by a little early so we can talk about what happened at the mall today. Just to get things straightened up.” he said with a hint of hurt in his voice. “Besides some changes were made, I was going to call and tell you, but knew we needed to talk face-to-face.” He said with a shrug.
“I would love to but as you can see, right now I’m not dressed. So just wait right here and give me a minute. I’ll be done soon.” I said trying to get back in the room. I felt the heat rise up to my face causing me to blush a bright red. He almost saw me naked, so embarrassing.
“Mhm.” He began licking his lips, and looking me up and down. I smiled at him before closing the door. I had to lean against it for a moment to get myself under control. What plans had changed? I questioned, once I was able to think straight. I quickly pushed off of the door and immediately dropped the towel to get dressed. I didn’t want to talk about Jason, let alone what happened today at the mall. I tried to get rid of it all from my mind, but I guess that won’t happen if he wants to talk about it. I let out a heavy sigh and just shook my head, this wasn’t going to be pretty, I can already tell. Finally pulling my short over my head, I picked up my towel and proceeded to open the door.
