[¥]Chapter 8[¥]

¬£¬A Stranger¬£¬

We were all in the lobby playing games, having fun. Alexis and I were racing. We were neck and neck. It was a narrow escape, because we would always catch up to one another and pass each other. However, in the end she won by 2 seconds. “Good job.” I said getting off the bike.

“You too.” Then we gave each other high fives. She seems like a nice girl. Still do not know why she has not actually talked to me in school. Maybe it is just they do not like me in side of school but on the outside they actually care. She and I walked over to Jordan and Lenox talking.

“What’s up ladies?” Lenox said greeting us with open arms.

“Hey D. Hey Jordan” we both said in unison. She asked Jordan to talk in private and he agreed.

“I’ll be back.” He said as he wrapped his arm around her waist and they left. Therefore, it was just Lenox and I standing there now. We stood there for a while in awkward silence until Lenox said,

“So you like my brother don‘t you?” I sat and thought for a minute. Had I come too really like Kelly?

I just said, “I don’t know.” with a shrug of my shoulders.

“What do you mean you don’t know?” He asked with a frown. “It’s either you do or you don’t.” He added.

“That’s exactly what I mean, I don’t know.” I stated. When I looked at him and the facial expression, he had wanting me to continue I did. “When I first met him, he was nice and sweet. Made me feel like I’m somebody, and I thought of him as a friend.” I shrugged my shoulders and let out a deep sigh. “But now, I don’t know how I feel about him.” I looked off to the side and seen him playing with his brothers.

“I see, stuck between love and hate. Well in this case love and lost.” He laughed. I could not agree more.

We stood there and talked when I felt eyes on me again. I looked around and saw that man again. I could have sworn my heart had skipped a beat. This time I saw his face; he was light skinned, muscular, about six feet-two, with a mustache, and a scare above his right eye. He smiled and waved at me again. This time I knew he was waving at me. I quickly looked away before Lenox noticed I was not listening to him, but I was not fast enough. “What are you looking at?” He asked about to turn around but I stopped.

“Wait, don’t look. I think he’s stalking me.” I told him.

            “Where?” he asked curiously.

“He’s over there by the games next to Desmond.” I said.

He turned around and acts as if he was saying something to Desmond, and caught a glimpse of the unknown male. “Do you know him?” he asked turning back around.

“I have no idea as to who he is.”

He nodded his head then took a looked at his watch. Then yelled, “Okay my crew lets go!” Hey yelled. Everyone stopped what he or she was doing and we all left. I looked back and the mystery man was gone. I wonder who that person was. I walked out with Lenox and Melissa, Kelly was walking with Desmond and Andrea.
