[¥]Chapter 23[¥]

¬£¬I'm Back¬£¬

Once Kelly and the guys left, I laid there and went to sleep. I was having a peaceful dream. Angel, Kelly, his brothers, Cedric, and I were on the beach just having a good time. Angel, Kelly, and I were in the water splashing each other, then they disappeared. Everyone was gone. I looked around calling their names but no answer. Not one soul in sight. Then I see this guy coming towards me. I swam around him and out the water. I sat on the beach hoping he would leave me alone, but I was wrong. That same guy kept walking out of the water coming towards me. He had on some type of mask and a gun in his hand. I tried to see who he was, but nothing came out his mouth. He kept coming towards me pointing the gun in my direction. I screamed and screamed but nothing was heard. And before I knew it, the gun went off and I woke up in a cold sweat.

"Oh Khalia! You had me worried." A feminine and familiar voice cried out. Before I could get a chance to get a clear view of the face, she embraced me into a tight hug.

When she released me, I saw that it was Jazzmine and smiled. "You okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I just had a very bad dream." I told her trying to get the horrible dream from my mind.

"I'm so glad that you're awake. I thought I was going to lose you." She smile and I smiled back.

"You wouldn't loose me." I replied. "How are the girls?"

She let out a small laugh and said, "They are fine. Makierra is still alive, thank God. And Malaya is still a little sad about the whole thing. She's keeping a watchful eye out for her sister. She's like a little bodyguard for Makierra." We both shook our head and she continued. "She's making sure Makierra takes her medicine before she goes to sleep, making sure she don't get into any trouble. It's just so cute." I laughed to myself.

I can picture Malaya doing that too. "Aww she's just so sweet." I say.

We sat and soaked up the moment before she said, "Well now that I know you're okay, and still alive. I'm going to head off to work." She stood and gathered her things.

"Okay. Don't work to hard." I smiled.

"I won't. Love you bye." She said heading for the door.

"Love you too." She kissed my cheek and left out. Since I couldn't go back to sleep I just turned the TV on and searched for something to watch. Nothing. I think I was channel surfing for a good lil minute until I landed on something interesting to watch. I don't even know what it is, let alone what it is about.

I would say I was watching TV for about an hour when I heard someone come in. So I thought. I looked at the door and there was no one there. When I turned back around to the TV, there he was the person from my dreams. He pointed the gun in my direction and pulled the trigger. I tried to reach for the emergency button but couldn't find it. When the gun went off, I woke up breathing hard, practically hyperventilating.

Thank God, it was only a dream. It felt as if someone had just punched all the wind out of me. I started choking and had trouble breathing so I pushed the button for the nurse. Then I heard someone call my name. I looked over to the window and saw Braydon. I tried sitting up but was unsuccessful. Laying down and choking isn't a good combination.

"Hey, what is wrong?" Braydon asked rushing to my side. I tried to talk but no words came out. All I could do was cough. I was chocking so much I thought I was going to cough up a bus. He came over and rubbed my back. He helped me sit up to where I can breathe a little better. When my coughing slowed down, he left out and got me some water. When he came back, the nurses walked in with him.
