Chantal's P.O.V
As we were riding inside of August's car I received a text message from ... Trey.
I gave him my number because he seemed like a cool guy.
I didn't want him as a boyfriend because I had August. I can't deny the fact that I think he's cute but I wouldn't go out with him.
Trey knew me and August dated because I told him the day we was in the cafeteria. Even though he knew we dated he still tried to get with me so I was gonna tell August.
When I looked over I saw August jaw tense up and veins popping out of his neck. "What's wrong baby"I said.
He turned to me and said"Chantal I'm not in the fuckin mood". "Well the hell happened you was just having fun and happy now you wanna catch an attitude"I said.
"Maybe if you wasn't texting Trey I wouldn't catch an attitude. Do you see me texting your best friend.. Exactly so don't give me that bullshit"he said.
"August you out of all people should know that I only want you I would bag a body for you, do anything in my power to make you happy. I'll stop texting Trey. I'm sorry"I said.
"Alright, and I'm about to drop you off home cuz I gotta get home fast"he said looking at his phone.
He dropped me off at home and I felt guilty for texting Trey so I told Trey to not text me anymore.
August P.O.V
I didn't know what to think but ima have a talk with Trey about texting my girl. I don't play that shit and he knows it.
My mom texted me telling me that I had to come home to watch my niece while she goes to work.
My niece is my heart man she's the only living image of my brother. She looks like a girl version of him. She even acts like him & it scares me sometimes.
When I got home I found my mother in her mom crying. Deep inside I wanted to cry with her but I knew I had to be strong for her. Sometimes I wish I could release my emotions but I'm not trying to look weak.
"Momma don't cry please"I said as I hugged her tight.
"August you all I have left son please don't let the streets take you away from me"she said.
"I promise momma I'll show you better than I can tell you. When I walk across that stage I want to see you smile"I said.
"I will son. Take care of Angel while I'm gone."she said.
I went to my brother's room which we turned into Angel's room. Tupac posters was replaced by Dora the explorer pictures. We painted her room lilac and white.
I saw my beautiful niece sleeping in her toddler bed. I reached down and kissed her cheek. "Hey Angel"I said. She replied with a sleepy voice"Hey Unk August".
I loved the way she said my name. I spent the rest of my day with her.
-Next Day-
I got dressed in a nike outfit with my KD's. I went to Chantal house and picked her up. She was looking fly and we was matching. She had her nike outfit with KD's.
We arrived at school holding hands. We got occasional stares and jealous girls always had something to say.
I always had to tell Chantal to ignore them. She was a fire cracker anything someone said she would explode.
I noticed Trey was standing by his locker so I approached him. "Aye let me talk to you"I said. He turned and faced me"Yeah what's up".
"I think it was hella disrespectful to text my girl so don't do it again we clear"I said. He smirked"Man I don't want your girl you can have her".
Exactly what I thought he knew not to
try me. After that I walked to class and saw my ex she called me. "What"I asked. "Can I talk to you please"she said. "What you wanna talk about"I said.
What she gonna tell him?

August and his niece is sooo adorable right ? Lol.
