August's P.O.V
I heard Zayna crying so I immediately ran to my room to see what was wrong with her.
I opened the door and saw her on the bed laying down crying.
"Zayna what's wrong man"I said.
"August your hurting me. Yeah I know you love her but I know deep down you love me. You can't deny it. I'm carrying our baby and you treating me like trash. You want her to have your baby then let her. I can't take this shit anymore. I tried my best not to be my old self but your making it come out. And you think Chantal so good well guess what she's not so perfect. That's why Jermaine shot her he wasn't jealous at all"Zayna said.
I shook my head and sat next to her. "I know Chantal not perfect but she perfect for me. I'm not gonna lie I fucking love you. When we got together I told I always love you. But you played me that made me feel like a pussy. Now that you carrying my seed ima stop treating you like trash. I'm sorry Zay.. Foreal. So you think something happened between her and Jermaine ?"I said.
"August I'm sorry about what I did in the past. I forgive you for treating me bad. I'm carrying our baby so I'm tryna look out for you. Chantal has a secret her Bestfriend Salise told me about it. But I'll let you believe what you want. Have fun at homecoming"she said as she laid back down.
Man I gotta find out what's the secret but for now I'm about to TURN UPPP at this dance.
I had on my polo button down that matched Chantal's dress. I wore my Khakis to make it casual and then I put on my loafers. Ya boy was looking mighty fly tonight.
My mom took pictures of us and hugged me goodbye.
On the way to the homecoming me and Chantal jammed in the car. "It's yours"she sung. "Nobody else's"I continued. We both laughed and enjoyed the ride.
The music blasted when we got inside of the auditorium. Everybody was dancing and twerking. I knew I had to get some Twerk tonight. Me and Chantal went to the dance floor.
She started twerking on me as I held her waist. "Get it bae Twerk on me"I said.
She turned around and kissed me "I love you August".
"I love you too"I replied. She was having hella fun. Everybody was turning up.
A girl went on to the stage and announced the homecoming queen and king. "Homecoming king is August Alsina and homecoming queen is Chantal Jackson"she said. Everybody starting cheering for us and clapping.
We walked on stage holding hands and smiling widely. After accepting our crowns we had danced together.
"Baby what you wanna do after this end"said Chantal. "We can go whenever you want"I said. She suggested we go back to her house. When we left I drove to her house and luckily her mother wasn't home.
We entered her house and I started kisses down her neck. As soon as I was about to slide my hand down her pants I get a text. "DAMN"! I thought to myself.
[Mama Dukes] August you need to come now. Zayna is sick.
Ugh man here we go with this shit. "Chantal I gotta go, Zayna is sick"I said. "She always has to ruin stuff"she replied.
I shook my head and headed home.
Zayna's P.O.V
I was feeling so bad. My stomach tightened into a knot I started throwing up. "Sweetie are you okay"said August Mom. "No I'm sick and my stomach feels weird"I replied.
"Well I just texted August he should be on his way"she said. I wiped my mouth and changed my ruined shirt to a basic hollister shirt.
August came in with a slight attitude. "Zayna"! He yelled. I walked to him and said"August I'm not feeling good please take me to the ER".
He nodded and grabbed his car keys. "Let's Go"he said. I followed him to the car and grabbed a bag just in case I had to throw up again.
I swear he was driving about 65 mph to the hospital. He had a concerned look on his face.
We walked in the hospital and he helped me sign in. I threw up again in the bag. "Ewww, Zay you about to make me puke"he said. I gave him a dirty look"Shut your ass up".
After waiting for about 20 minutes which seemed like we was waiting for the world to end the doctor came out.
"Ms. Parker"! I heard the doctor say. Me and August walked into the room.
He did an ultrasound and we heard the baby heartbeat. Hearing my baby heartbeat made me smile and relieved.
The doctor said I was almost 4 months. He also told us next month I could see the gender of the baby. I told him what symptoms I was having. "Ms.Parker I believe you have to stop eating fatty food because that could cause you to vomit". I nodded and said"I will try my best thanks doctor".
The doctor nodded and left the room. As soon I got off the bed my feet started hurting.
"August please carry me"I whined. "Shid you got two legs girl use them" he joked. "Come onnnnn" I whined. He picked me up and carried me to the car.
"Don't scare me like that again I was almost about to shed a tear"he said. "I was too, but sorry I just love your moms fried chicken"I replied.
We laughed and drove home to tell his mom what happened.
