Chapter 14

Chantal's P.O.V



Today was our school's homecoming. I was so pumped about it. Me and Salise had already got our dresses.



She was going with her new boyfriend Andre. They recently got together I think that they made a cute couple. August was suppose to take me he told me to meet him at his house.



I put the finishing touches on my hair and sprayed my Victoria Secret Love Spell. My mom told me she was going to drop me off at August house.



We got inside of the car and she looked at me. "Honey are you okay ? You seem nervous"said my mom. I put on a smile and said"Mom I'm perfectly fine".



August didn't live that far away from me so it took us about 10 minutes to get to his house. We pulled into his driveway and I got out.



I waved to my mom and said goodbye. I walked up the stairs of his home. I knocked on his door and then his mother opened the door.



"Hi Chantal, August is almost finished you can take a seat on the couch while you wait"his mom said.



I waiting on his couch until he was finished. I heard someone coming down the stairs I thought it was August so I said"Hey baby". When I turned out it was who I expected. It was the dumb broad Zayna.




"Um Chantal what you doing here"she said. "Me and August going to homecoming duh"I replied. August came down the stairs looking so handsome it made my heart start to flutter.


I really didn't feel like getting into an argument with her because I know if I did I would beat her up. So I just ignored her and focused on August.


August's P.O.V


There was no need for any drama. I knew Chantal was probably going be wondering why Zayna was here so I pulled her aside.


"Baby I know you wondering why Zayna here so let me explain. Her mother found out she was pregnant and kicked her out. We went to get a paternity test to see if the baby was mines. It came out that I'm the father of her baby. She's going to be living here until she can get back on her feet"I said.

"I understand but it seems to me you still have feelings for her. You probably love her more than me"she said as her eyes was tearing up.


I grabbed her chin and looked into her eyes. "Chantal don't cry ma. You changed me and I'm thankful for that. You know where you stand in my life. Ima keep it one hundred I still have feelings for Zayna but your girlfriend not her. To be honest I wish you was having my child not her"I said as I began kissing her lips.

Zayna's P.O.V

I been feelings down lately. My life is so screwed up. I'm basically homeless because I can't live in August mother house forever. My baby is the most important thing to me.



My mom should be ashamed of herself for just putting out her own child. I wouldn't ever do that to my child. As soon as I have my child she bet not show up.

I must admit I really was thankful for August mom she was very nice to me. She would rub my belly out of nowhere. August seemed to be annoyed a little by me. He often say things like "You lucky I let you stay here if it was for you carrying my seed I would throw your ass out". I would get upset and just lock myself in the bathroom.

Today was our school homecoming I wanted to go but then my feet got swollen. The doctor suggested that I stay off my feet.

I wanted to go with August to homecoming but I see he made up his mind. I guess he was gonna go with Chantal. I felt a little jealous but it's whatever.

When I saw her she gave me a look as if she didn't like me. I don't care though that's her problem.

I was about to walk in the kitchen until I heard August and her having a conversation. The words that hurted me the most was "To be honest I wish you was having my child not her".

I busted out crying and ran away.

I couldn't believe he would treat me so bad.
