Tough Day

"Hey, you alright there?"

Jimin who was still out in the hallway with his back pressed up against his hotel room nodded despite not seeing the face of the asking man because his hand covered his eyes. He sniffed and confirmed verbally that he was.

"Doesn't appear so Jimin."

At the say of his name, Jimin put his hand down to see that who was speaking to him was his roommate. His frown turned into a smile and his arms flew over the shoulders of his friend's. He hugged him so tightly, telling him how glad he was to see him. It turned out Jin's company would too be attending the conference but their invite had been so last minute which was the reason for him departure being sudden and unannounced. He invited Jimin to his room where they talked about the reason for Jimin's crying.

"It feel like my heart is going to-"

"Explode... I know." Jin finished his sentence as he ran his long finger through his best friend's hair to smooth him. Jimin leaned his forehead on his friend's hip while he continued to let the remaining tears fall out.

"Jin..."

"Yeah?"

"I-I... I think I l-love him."

"I know Jiminie. I know you do."

Jimin frowned as he heard his friend's voice crack. He pulled away from their hug and look at his red puffy eyes. He looked away as a tear ran down his own eye. "W-why are you crying?"

Jin shook his head and let out a sigh. When he was not given an answer Jimin pushed on it because he was the man's best friend meaning he didn't settle for the silent treatment. Eventually Jin did spill, the reason for his sadness was his friend. He was going to confess his feelings to his friend Ken but just before that the duo bumped into who Ken planned on introducing to Jin sooner or later, a girlfriend.

"I'm sorry Jin."

He laughed sadly and sniffed. He wiped off the last tear and breathed in deeply. He got up and walked over to a mini fridge, and pulled out a water bottle. Jimin looked down as he thought how much worse his friend must be feeling. He'd had a crush on the other boy for a few years out of the ten years they knew each other so it must have felt much worse.

"It's okay... I guess. Maybe I can finally move on now you know..."

"Yeah, maybe."

Jimin laid down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling. His heart still hurt, but in a different way. He felt hurt for his friend. He let it be silent as the two laid in the bed staring upwards.

"Why are you here?"

"Work, there's some meetings being held here and my boss wanted me to come."

Jimin just nodded and kept quiet. Once he felt a little better he spoke up. "I need somewhere to stay, I can't stay with my boss. Namjoon isn't willing to share the bed either." Jimin looked at his friend whose eyes were close. Jin agreed to letting Jimin stay with him then left for a workshop he needed to be at in time for. Jimin waved to his friend as he walked out of the room. He rolled around in the bed until a sound came from his pocket. Yoongi was calling him.

"Where are you? We have to go sign in for tomorrow's meeting, there's paper work to fill out."

Jimin frowned hung up the phone and sat up. He grabbed the key and left the room. He saw Yoongi walking down the hall towards the elevator. He knew they'd meet up eventually and that was he was going to do was silly but he didn't want to be around him for more time than he needed to so Jimin waited for the next elevtor to take him down. He kept his head down as the shaft stopped at a floor below and someone joined him.

"Tough day?"

The voice was deep, of a man. Jimin looked up and nodded with the slightest smile on his face. He caught sight of the handsome face of the owner of the voice that spoke to him.

"When I have days like that I like drown myself in candy while watching a good movie."

Jimin chuckled at that. He turned his head upwards and towards the man. "What movie would you recommend."

The guy puckered out his lips as he thought. "A chick flick perhaps."

At the suggestion both males laughed. The door opened to reveal to those in the lobby the two strangers enjoying each other's presences. Also right in front was the man who had taken the trip down first. He reached in for the hand of his employee to drag him out of the elevator.
