Orphanage

"Orphanage?"

Jimin repeated the word that left him yearning to more of. In return the elder pulled him back onto him and nodded his head as if it were a proper answer. Left utterly confused and lost Jimin asked the obvious.

"Why would he need to call an orphanage for Kookie?"

"Are you really that oblivious?" Yoongi quirked an eyebrow. "Why do you think?"

It was very clear why he needed to call such place but the clueless man did not want to say it. He felt a ping of guilt thinking that such a sweet young boy like Jungkook had grown up in a home with many other parentless children. It was not an image he'd ever seen for the boy nor did he want to think of.

"I told him to go home because his mother would be worried...he didn't say anything, no one did." Jimin said softly as he spoke his actions of days ago. "I feel terrible."

Yoongi rubbed his shoulder."It's okay, you didn't know any better. I'm surprised you didn't notice sooner. I mean what parent let's their kid miss school and be totally okay with it, or stay overnight with Taehyung in an empty building?"

"Bad parents? I don't know" Jimin muttered, cursing himself for his obliviousness. It was only now that the actions were being spoken that they sounded so much worse than he thought them to be. Of course Jimin found it odd but he just assumed Jungkook's parents were laid back unlike his.

"If it makes you feel any betterr, in a way he does have parents." Yoongi said. "Us."

"Us?" Jimin repeated.

"Yeah. See Joon wanted to adopt him when he was younger but since he's a workaholic with no partner, they denied him all the times he tried. It didn't stop him from taking Jungkook out on the weekends and buying him things though. He introduced the kid to us and I guess you can say we all kind of just fell in love with him. He was so small back then..."

Jimin looked at Yoongi who stared into the distance as he recalled the memory of the young boy he'd become so fond of. There was a glint in his eyes and a small smile on his face. When he snapped out of it, his eyes went straight to the man who stared at him so curiously. Jimin let his head fall on the man's shoulder to hide from his gaze. It was wrong, the position they were in but for that small period of time they let it be.

"I'm sorry asking."

In return to his apology, Jimin's hand was kissed. Quickly he pulled it away and stared at Yoongi outraged. However the elder was still smiling like it was funny what had just done.

"You can't do that!"

"Yes I can, look."

Again the gesture was repeated and again Jimin pulled away his hand. Yoongi snatched it back to his lips and held it there while the younger whined. He asked for the action to be stopped but not with the urgency that should have been. It'd be a lie to say that the younger was not enjoying the affection even the slightest. A knock on the door caused from the two to pull away and for Jimin to jump to his feet.

"Is it true?" Jungkook's small head poked into the office with a bright smile. When he was confirmed about their trip he umped around happily. Jimin decided to take his leave as the two began conversing their doings on the trip. He was met with the sight of the red head pulling on his hair as he stared at the computer in front of him. Jimin decided he's aid him however he could. The two organized a few papers until they were interrupted by one of the men in charger.

"Tell Jungkook to wait by the car, I have to go to the lobby for a few minutes. Make sure everything is set before you leave and I'll see you two tomorrow."

Both employees affirmed the orders and bid the man goodbye. They Jungkook know his message, and nearly finished their papers. Hoseok was next to make an appearance before them, he was waiting for Taehyung. Jimin assured the boy he'd finish the rest and have them be dropped off downstairs so that they could take their leave. He finished the few that were left them took hold of his things to go. Happily the man strolled the the elevator where he waited for it to come back up.

"No goodbye kiss?"

Besides Jimin had appeared his boss asking for what he should. The younger asked for him to quit the ridiculous act. On that particular day the elevator decided to longer than usual which gave Yoongi plenty of time to whine loudly to the point Jimin gave in. He climbed into the elavtor and waited but the man would not go along with him.

"There are camera's in there." Yoongi pointed into the elevator.

"So?"

"So you can't kiss me in there, it has to be in here."

Jimin sighed and stepped just outside the metal shaft. "Fine. Close your eyes then"

The man did just that after a small smile. He puckered his lips and waited. Jimin took his blind moment to run back into the elevator which doors were closing. He could hear the man's yells as he began going down. As soon as the door opened, he ran out.
