"Jimin!" Taehyung came skipping into the hotel room.
Jimin's eyes shot open and he climbed off his husband. Taehyung almost fell back but he recovered quickly.
"Did I interrupt something?"
"No."
"Yes."
Jimin rolled his eyes at Yoongi and pushed Taehyung out of the room to the hallway. "What's up?" he asked. If Taehyung had come to the room when he clearly knew what may have been going he wanted something.
"You want to go to the pool? Hobi and Jungkook at getting inflatable duckies so we need to know how many to get. You in?" Taehyung smiled widely awaiting his answer. Jimin shook his head, where was this man's brain?
"Tae we're not here on vacation."
"You two aren't, we are." He kept the smile. Jimin shook his head disapprovingly. "Tae we have to be at the orphanage in like half an hour, we can't."
"Okay so see you after then?"
"We're going to be gone for a few hours." Jimin raised an eyebrow but Taehyung looked dumbfounded. "So...we'll be there all day. See you soon then." He skipped out of the room and waved him goodbye. Jimin shook his head for who knew how many times since they had arrived.
"Is everything okay!?" Yoongi shouted from the bed. Jimin sighed and walked back into the room. "Let me guess? He wanted to know if we wanted inflatable duckies for when we join them in the pool?"
Jimin nodded. This happened all the time, how was he still surprised? "Yes he was. We should get going, the woman was very strict about the time." Jimin grabbed the glasses on the drawer and extended his hand out to Yoongi. He gladly took it and they headed out of the room together.
"Are you excited Prince?" Yoongi asked once they had made it into their car. Jimin nodded, of course he was. He was about to meet their first child, whoever he or she was.
"I wonder what she'll look like or if she'll like us. Or if she has long hair or short hair or brown eyes or as pretty as you or-"
"Stop it." Jimin slapped his shoulder and giggled. He knew Yoongi was going to have his eyes set on the girls. He didn't have a preference, he had a feeling that when they saw a child that made them feel both a certain way, the gender wouldn't matter.
They arrived at the orphanages and greeted the woman they had spoken with on the phone with for such a long time. Jimin greeted her with the most welcoming smile he could, as did Yoongi. Jimin had warned him to watch his mouth especially in a place filled with kids.
"So Mr.Mins I will take you to our backyard, it recess so all of them should be out there." The woman motioned to the door in the far corner. "Some might be inside but rarely does that happen on such a sunny day so we'll just be taking you inside."
"That sounds just fine, right Yoongi?" Jimin turned to his husband. "Yes it does Prince." he smiled. The woman grinned and began walking towards the door. They followed her out into a hallway full of pictures of children.
"So how long have you been married?"
"About two years." Yoongi responded to her question. He kissed Jimin's hand just before the woman turned around. They stoped in front of a door, the sounds of children could be heard faintly.
"Please be careful as you walk around, some of them are very young and will trip over your feet. Also if you feel you've found the one then let me know so I can get you their records. Alright I think we're set." The woman smiled and opened the door. The bright light hit both their eyes and they walked out into the corridor of running and screaming children.
"Aw they're so cute!" Jimin squealed as they walked past a group of girls playing jump rope. Yoongi wasn't looking at them though, he was looking past them to a group of little boys. "Love look." Jimin squeezed his hand but he refused to even turn in the direction.
"You go...I'm going to go there..." Yoongi released his hand and walked off to the direction he'd been staring at. Jimin assumed it was the group of girls but he walked past them, they didn't pay much mind to him either way.
"Mr.Min?" a woman tapped his shoulder. He turned around and greeted the unrecognizable woman. "We haven't formally met but I've been managing most of your paper work for the past few months. I'm Mrs.Kim, it's a pleasure to finally meet."
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Jimin." He smiled politely at her. "Are you having trouble going around? Why don't we go into the shade for a little?" Jimin nodded and followed the woman. There weren't much children around them except for one. He was sitting with a sketchpad in his hand drawing circles.
"I heard Mr.Min has had his eyes set on a female correct?" Mrs.Kim asked. Jimin hummed, "He has but he doesn't mean it entirely. We'll find our child when we both feel they're the one, not because of gender."
"I'm glad to hear you say that. Many of the couples that come here usually have their eyes set on one specific sex not the feelings they develop towards a child." She smiled genuinely, Jimin could see his comment was greatly appreciated. She then left him to care for a child that had fallen.
"Are you here for somebody?"
Jimin turned his head to the little boy with a sketch pad. His pronunciation was rather swell for his appearance. He looked up at him with at him and stared at him curiously. The boy's chocolate brown eyes matched his chocolate brown hair.
"Um...yes actually. I'm here with my husband."
"Husband?" he tilted his head. Clearly the word was not in his vocabulary but Jimin was about to fix that. "Yes, we're married." Jimin held up his hand to show off his two rings. "He's a boy just like you."
He pouted and nodded. "Can y-you read?"
"I can." Jimin grinned. He watched as the boy reached to his side and handed him a large book. It had a teddy bear on the cover. "Can you read?" he tapped the bear with his small fingers. "I want to but I can not and no one will."
"Of course but first you have to tell me your name." Jimin leaned down. The boy was fiddling with his fingers for a few seconds before he looked up, "Mark." Jimin tapped his head and smiled, "I'm Jimin Mark, you've got a very nice name."
"Y-You too." He muttered. He moved closer to Jimin and leaned on his arm. He tapped the bear on the cover again. Jimin gladly opened the book and began reading about the teddy bear. The story made no sense but the smile on the little boy's face was all he needed to not question it.
"Mark! Mark! Look!"
Jimin along with the boy looked up. A boy taller and most likely older than Mark came running towards them. He stopped right in front of them and ran around in a circle several times. Jimin just smiled, he didn't bother to question the unnecessary action.
"Cool right! I'm not dizzy!" the boy said right before falling back but a pair of hands were there to catch him. Jimin didn't have to look up to know whose hands those were. He recovered quickly and hovered over the book.
"Ooo what are you reading Markie?"
"Bear." Mark pointed at right under his nose. Jimin smiled at the pair, so did Yoongi and he knew that without having to look. "Hi I'm Taeyong and I wanna listen too." the boy finally looked up from the book to Jimin.
"Sure, Mr.Min would you like to join us?" He grinned at Yoongi and pointed to the concrete. Yoongi sat down right in front of him, the boy, Taeyong sat next to him.
"Markie always wants to read it but he can't yet so I'm trying to learn it for him! I'll read it to my wittle brother!"
"It's little Tae." Mark correct him but Taeyong looked too proud to say anything about it. Jimin looked at Yoongi who was smiling from ear to ear at them both. "You're brothers?" Jimin asked. They both nodded their heads.
Jimin looked over to Yoongi, they had found the ones.
