C H A P T E R 02

Meet Zhyne Kiero Smith, he's 23 years old and owns well-known and popular hotels here in the country as well as in other parts of Asia.

He is popular in various parts of Asia but he does not want to appear in the media so no one knows him but his name. He just appears when there's a special occasion led by his family. At the age of 20, he already graduated from college that's why he's now managing his own company.

Kiero's POV

I stopped what I was doing when I heard the door open.

"Care to knock on the door, dad," I said and turned my attention back to what I was doing at the table. I saw in my peripheral vision my dad sitting on the sofa.

I heard dad's loud sigh before speaking.

"When do you plan to get married, Zhyne? You're already 23." He said that caused me to stop what I was doing. I gasped because of the annoyance.

For the nth time, that was his question to me again. When will he stop trying to get me married? It's just a waste of time.

"I'm only 23 and I'm busy with my own business, marriage is just a waste of time," I replied and continued what I was doing.

"Your grandfather always asked me when you were going to get married." He said seriously.

"I don't care. You're persistent and annoying, dad. It's final. Why don't you go and ask Zandrew since he's already engaged."

"Zandrew's fiancée is not here that's why it has to be you. For you to have a partner in the Mafia world." I looked at dad seriously. I sighed when I saw its serious face.

"Tsk, whatever." I just said. He's really persistent today. Is my marriage too important to him? He is not even the one to get married but he is even more excited than me.

"Excuse me. Sir Zhyne." Dad and I stopped talking when my secretary spoke at the door. I got up and then faced my father who was sitting on the sofa.

"I need to leave, dad. I still have the same decision, dad. I do not want to marry any woman who only wants my wealth."

After I told that to my dad, I started walking out of the office, leaving him inside.

Tiffany's POV

Nang tawagin ko si sir Smith sa kanyang opisina ay mabilis siyang umalis. Nakita ko ang dad ni Sir Zhyne sa loob, si Sir Zian ay nag-iisip ng malalim, marahil ay dahil iyon sa pag-uusap nilang dalawa tungkol sa kasal.

Hindi ko sinasadyang marinig ang pag-uusap nila. Nagkataon lang na nandoon ako sa tapat ng pinto. Susundan ko na sana si Sir Zhyne pero napatigil ako nang marinig ko ang pag tawag sa akin ni Sir Zian.

"Ikaw ba ang secretary ni Zhyne?" tanong ni sir Zian sa akin habang naka upo siya sa sofa, ako naman ay nanatili lamang sa labas ng opisina.

"Yes sir," magalang kong sagot.

His gaze were sharp and cold enough to make me tremble. Smith's family is really mysterious.

"Call every person who's on the list. Papuntahin mo silang lahat sa opisina ni Zhyne bukas ng umaga," seryoso nyang sabi at saka inabot sa akin ang list.

Mga picture ng iba't ibang babae at meron ding personal information sa gilid ng pictures nila. Namumukaan ko ang iba dahil minsan na rin itong naka meeting ni Sir at ang iba naman ay mga celebrities.
