I sat there shaking. The nightmare was back. He was haunting my dreams in the worst of ways.

I sat at the alter, my mascara streaming as "Adam" leaned in. As his lips pressed on mine, I heard the preacher mutter, "You may now kiss the bride." I opened my eyes wide to see that the scene has changed. I watched Jose's rotting body slowly stand, his black sockets oozing red. He walked towards me slowly.

"I thought you said you'd always love me! You pinky promised! Am I just the body under the bridge for you? Like you know I'm there but I mean nothing to you!" he ran towards me. "I'll show you what it's like to love somebody so much you'd die for them. I swear I will. Cross my heart and hope to die."

I felt my arm pop out of its socket. "Aaaah!"

He smiled a rotted tooth grim before kissing me.

I shuddered at the memory and wiped the sweat off of my brow.

I heard him laugh again. "Ah. So you're finally awake."

I grimaced. "I'm hungry."

He sighed as I held my stomach for effect. "How about McDonalds? Only the best for the princess."

I glared at him as he walked out of the room.

About thirty minutes later, he returned with twenty McNuggets, barbecue, and a large Dr. Pepper.

"Oh, you know me so well," I muttered sarcastically before scarfing down the greasy meal in about ten minutes, drink and all.

"Thirsty?" He laughed.

He walked over to me. I flinched slightly as he grabbed my face and kissed the top of my nose. "Goodnight."

I looked at him confused then watched as he pulled his arm back and punched me hard in my face. The world went black and I knew the dreams were coming back. Dreams of him. My love. Jose.
