The next day was a day that would change your life forever.

Your mother's death would be the one action that set off the rest of the things in your life, good and bad.

It was as bright and sunny as any other day, seemingly normal. You would go to school, your mom would go to work or stay home, depending on whether or not she had the day off. Then you'd come home and jump into her arms, telling her about your day, as your mom sincerely listened. Then you guys would make dinner, wash up, and go to bed. It'd be like this everyday, her occasionally teaching you a life lesson you, most of the time, wouldn't understand.

All of those days came to a halt when you found her dead body on the ground.

After you came home from school, you asked your mother if you could go pick flowers with your friends. She said yes, and there you were, running around, laughing as you and your friends played in the field.

Over time, you and your friends got tired. One of the older kids decided to teach you and your friends on how to make a flower crown. After many tries, you managed to make one for your mother that you thought was worth wearing by her. Excitedly, you ran to your home, ready to show her what you had made.

The house was eerily quiet when you got inside. By this time, your mother would be cooking dinner or napping. You checked her bedroom. She wasn't there. You decided to check the kitchen, that was were she left notes. Maybe she was late from work.

When you walked in, the smell of blood punched you straight in the face. It was so strong, you almost vomited on the spot. Continuing on with your search, you looked around the stove only to see a barely alive, bloody body that belonged to none other than your mother. (Hey that rhymed!)

"Run," your mother said, "run far away from here and never return, find the place where you belong." Your mom said as she desperately tried to crawl to you.

"Mommy..." There were tears running down your eyes as you walked towards your mother. "I'm taking you with me!"

"You can't! You have to leave me. You will live on, in my absence. I'm dying for the sake of my darling child. Don't go throwing your live away, now!" She said. You sobbed next to you mother. She was your life. She had always praised you at how obedient you were, always listening to her and following her footsteps. You were certainly your mother's daughter. Your mom stopped breathing.

"No. NO! MOM!" You screeched. You got up, and put the flower crown on her head. You grabbed the note that she left on the counter.

You were gonna run far, far away from this place, never to return.

After days of traveling, you came across a coast. You heard weeping.

Someone was as sad as you were, for once.

After looking around for quite a while, you found a large dragon, sitting on a rock, tears in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" You asked.

"Go away." She said. Despite the dragon's coldness towards you, you remained in one spot.

"I SAID GO AWAY!" She yelled. She roared at you, sending a gust of water straight at you. You didn't run, or dodge. You took it, sending you crashing into a rock.

"Why didn't you run away, idiot? Do you want to die?" The dragon said. You didn't move. The blood was gushing from your head and there where cuts and bruises all over you. Your legs were almost broken, as were your arms. You still managed to stand, despite your condition.

"My mother was killed. She was my life, my everything. I have lost all will to live. Please kill me."You looked down at the ground as tears ran your eyes. Your life was hopeless.

"And your father?" She asked.

"I don't know who that bastard is." You spat.

"You cannot die," You looked up. "You must live, for your mother. I don't think she would want to see her child moping around, wouldn't she? She'd want to see you living, traveling, meeting new people, and seeing things."

"Why were you crying?" There was a long silence. She finally decided to tell you.

"I was pregnant with my child, but I had a miscarriage."

"I that case, how about I be your child?"

"Huh?" You smiled.

"I need parents, and you need a child. Sounds like a win-win to me, doesn't it?"

"OK then. I am Eincole. I am a Water, Ice, and a Queen dragon."

"I am, (y/n), your new daughter." You ran to the dragon, cuddling it.

Suddenly, you collapsed.

So here's chapter 2! I made it slightly longer this time, and next chapter you will meet your father dragon. He is part of the anime, and Eincole is part of the reason why he is... very angry.

Until next time,
