The Ordinary Life of Brooke Jones

Chapter 9

She stood there with a shocked looked on her face, what she saw was a miracle! He was awake! She couldn't help, but cry with happy tears. As soon as she caught her breath she walked over and sat right next to him, and just embraced him. He finally said,

Ricky: *laughs* hey stranger

Brooke: *Cries* I thought I was going to lose you forever

Ricky: What? And miss seeing your beautiful self everyday? Never! I could never do that, you're to important for death *kisses her forehead*

Brooke: I want to tell you somethin-

               *She was cut off by his family*

Diane: How are feeling Hon? 

Ricky: A little weak, but a little better too. I'm glad you're all here, but can I have some time with Brooke?

Diane: Maybe a little later okay, you need to rest

Ricky: Mom, I've been resting for over a year now, please?
Diane: Well you are 18 now so it is your choice.

Ricky: Thank you.

                   ***They leave the room****

Brooke: You feeling okay? You need anything like water, food-

Ricky: All I need is you, okay?
Brooke: *smiles* Okay.

Ricky: Guess what? 

Brooke: What? 

Ricky: They're discharging me tomorrow morning. Can you handle one more day without me?

Brooke: No! I'm spending the night. 
Ricky: I guess I could use the company

The next morning Brooke was passed out and all Ricky could do was sit there and watch her as she did . She looked like she hadn't slept in over a year, pft of course she didn't she was so worried that she was going to start planning her boyfriends funeral, she should exhausted.  He got up and got changed, then he finally woke her up. 

Ricky: Hey, I'm ready to go

         ***Brooke wakes up***

Brooke: *Moans* Alright I'll get my car

Ricky: *Hisses* Baby don't ever do that again

Brooke: *Confused* What?

Ricky: Moan, cause that was just sexy asf!

            ***Brooke smiles and rolls her eyes*
Brooke: Alright stud, sign your papers and lets go *laughs*

Ricky: *signs papers* Alrighty let's go shall we.

Brooke: Yes! 

They headed out to the car, and drove home. Brooke looks at Ricky,

Brooke: Let's go to my house.

Ricky: You sure?

Brooke: Yes I'm sure, I'm ready to go "home"

Ricky: I'm not expecting anything, this is completely up to you.
Brooke: I'm sure.
