Chapter 10

...After they just laid in his bed and enjoyed each others company, Ricky rubbed Brooke's shoulder all the way down to her elbows then back up to her shoulder. Brooke was laying on Ricky's chest listening to his beautiful heart beat, and enjoying his smell. Ricky tilted his head and kissed the top of Brooke's head. Brooke couldn't help but smile and close her eyes in that amazing moment, she then thought to herself "Wow! Loose virginity to the one I love; Check!" She then sat up and rumished threw the blankets to find his shirt and put it on. She looked over at Ricky and saw that he fell asleep; she got up and looked at his messy desk, she went threw it and something caught her eye, it looked Army; she picked it up and began reading it "...You're training begins October 10th..." she couldn't read anymore. She threw it on the bed, hurried got dressed and ran out the door, she got in her car and went home.

Ricky heard her car start, and was confused, then he looked on the bed on saw the letter on his bed, he sighed and hurried and grabbed his phone and texted Brooke: Brooke, baby please pick up, I can explain. I was going to tell you before everything happened, but I didn't know how to, please call me! Mean while Brooke looked at her phone buzzing, but ignored it, tears running down her cheek, her head filled with thoughts, she didn't know what to do, what to think. She pulled over near the park, turned off the car, put her head on the stearing wheel, and cried. Ricky got dressed, put his shoes on and ran after her; he got the park and saw her car in the park's parking lot, he walked up and got in the car, Brooke looked up at him then looked at the driver's window

Ricky: I know I should have told you, but I didn't know how to. I'm so sorry Brooke, the last thing I wanted to do was keep it from you.
Brooke: Keep what from me? The fact that you're enlisting in the Army?! I don't care that you are, I care about you lying to me! You should've told me, I would've been supportive! But instead you chose not to trust me!
Ricky: I do trust you Brooke-
Brooke: NO! You didn't! That's why you didn't tell me!
Ricky: ...
Brooke: When do you leave?
Ricky: Immediately after training
Brooke: Okay that's in 6 months, I have 6 months with you. I'll try and make them count.
Ricky: I'm really sorry that I didn't tell you, I know I should have.
Brooke: Yeah you should have, but I'm sorry I freaked out, I really think it's brave and nobel.
Ricky: (laughs) Where did I ever find you? You are so amazing (Kisses her)

They decided after that little fight, they would go and get some chilly fries with a frosty from Wendy's.
