There is a void pressing down on my conciousness, threatening to take over everything within me.   I'm having a hard time separating everything back into their proper places in my brain, it's like I'm being flooded mentally.  My head is throbbing. Literally, I'm choking, staring down at Caitlyn's unconcious body as Donny checks her over.  Nightmare has disappeared, but his haunting one-liner sticks in the back of my mind.

"You're barely a witch, you are a pathetic use for a magic-user!"

I straighten, my emotions piling up so much that I can't think straight.  I'm feeling too much, too little, everything and nothing all at once.  It needs to shut off, I can't... I can't...

"Morgan," A voice says softly, momentarily interrupting my inner turmoil.  "Morgan, Caitlyn is going to be fine."

I turn and face Donatello, his eyes wide and cautious.  He knows, he can see the fight going on inside of me.  We stare at each other for a moment, before he places his hand on my shoulder.  "It's going to be okay, do you understand?  The Shredder won't get away with this, we're going to stop him." He tells me.

The Shredder.  My heart plummets.  Of all the things, and I completely forgot about my grandfather.  I feel an arm wrap around my waist, and turn slightly to see Michelangelo.  "I get the feeling it's kick-butt time!" he announces.

"Finally!  Somebody wants to do somethin'!"  Raphael growls, clenching his fists angrily.  "We gotta put the Shredder down, before he makes a mess of this city!"

"In due time, Raph.  Right now, we gotta make a game plan.  And figure out what to do with the girls." Leonardo says, still staring anxiously down at Caitlyn.  There is so much care and worry pouring from his aura that I barely contain it.  He can take care of her, I know it...

I take a deep breath.  "I have to find my sister.  Something happened, I have to find out what." I tell the four of them, meeting each of their gazes.  "Kylee is the only one who will have the inside information that I won't have to fight.  I trust her."

"But she betrayed you!" Raph points out, flabbergasted.  I know he's hurt and confused, too- he wants to know what happened to my stubborn sister as well.  I wish I could help him understand, but there isn't time, not right now.

There's a soft moan, and we all turn towards Caitlyn.  Her eyes flutter, and a hand slowly goes to her head.  "Holy crow, what the hell happened?" She mumbles.  Leo eagerly helps her sit up, and she blinks slowly.  "Morgan?"

"Hey, cutie." I answer with a gentle, forced smile.  It doesn't reach my eyes, and I can tell that she notices.  "How are ya feeling?"

Kit Kat's eyes focus on me, and I immediately feel her probing my mind for the answers she wants.  I don't try to hide them, I'm too busy trying to keep myself together.  Her eyebrows knit together in confusion.  "I feel fine, all things considering." She answers, attempting to stand.

"Take it slow." Leo advises, supporting most of her weight.  She grunts a little at the soreness, but shoots him a grateful smile once she's upright.

"We need to find Ky." She says.  "There's a power lapse, and I don't like it."  I nod, grateful that she's feeling the same way I am.  At least I know I'm not going crazy.  "Didn't you say something about Becca...?" She asks.

I shrugged.  "I didn't get much." I confess.  "We must be right on the border of my empathy range."

"You guys aren't going anywhere without us." Leo states firmly, his arm wrapping around Caitlyn a little tighter.  "No splitting up, okay?"

My sister shook her head.  "You four have to go find the Shredder and stop all this madness." She answers, gesturing to the city around us.  "The blackout is just the start."
