Diana POV

"Dan you are no bloody help." I scoffed putting on my leather jacket before glancing at my phone, meanwhile Dan was howling laughing on FaceTime.

"I'm sorry! I really don't know what color lipstick is best. I'm a guy!"

"Well then I guess I don't have a surprise for you. Since you're no help at all." I smirked watching as Kyle slowly crept into the screen.

"I really really.... Love surprises so please share."

" I guess. Well I talked to your manager and I was on the phone with Ellen..."

" The... Ellen? Tv show Ellen?"

"Yes and she said she had a spot that fell through next week. I said well it just so happens my mates from Bastille will be in town. She was thrilled nonetheless to have you guys on again." Kyle grinned before shaking Dan.

"Ah we are going on Ellen again!"

"That is wicked Diana thank you. Really!"

"You guys are welcome." A laugh passed my crimson lips before I glanced in the mirror. Thankfully the bruises were nearly gone, though I'm sure they would be a question. I could only imagine the questions that were bound to come, but they needed to be answered. "I gotta get going. I'll see you really soon. I got the studio up and running so you better have something to record."

" We have a couple to work on. I just can't seem to get the words right."

"Well I'm here to help. Love you guys."

"Bye Diana!" Dan and Kyle hollered at the same time before I hung up. I wandered downstairs, grabbing Gerald's Mustang keys and walking out the door, of course locking it behind me. The drive was what I needed. Not a soul bothered be along the curved canyon roads, the California air was chilly this time of year. Before long I arrived at the studio, heading inside and getting directed right towards make up. They didn't have much to do except my hair.

"Hey Diana! Gosh it's great to see you again. How you been feeling?" A smile crossed my lips and Ellen came up and engulfed me into a hug.

"I can't complain. How about you? You're looking like a ball of energy as always." She laughed slightly before fixing her jacket.

"Ya know this never gets old. It's always fun. I really can't thank you enough though for filling this spot. Your brother said he couldn't make it."

"Ah so Chris backed out. Well any questions for him you can ask me I'll probably know."

"Sounds great. I'll gonna go get the show started and they'll push you on out in a few minutes."

"Awesome." I flashed a smile before looking back on the mirror. The curls in my hair complemented my choice of make up.

"Alright darling you're up." I stood up and slowly made my way to the stage, Me, Myself, and I was playing as I walked out, waving to the crowd. It had been years since I had done something like this. Even longer since I didn't need drugs to get through it. Ellen and I hugged before we sat down. A few members of the crowd still howling here and there.

"Hey! Thanks for coming in such short notice. Now where do we even begin?!" I laughed slightly before shaking my head.

"It's been a few years hasn't it? Well I've been crazy busy. I just finished touring with Bastille and Coldplay last year. I took a year break. By that I mean I disappeared for awhile. That wasn't as refreshing as I had hoped."

"You know it never is, Porsha and I went away and we would have rather stayed home. Sometimes home is just better. Now I know a lot of people are wondering what is up with you and G-Eazy? There are photos of you two flooding the internet." The crowd Ooo-ed, making a slight smirk cross my lips.
