*daniel's p.o.v *

A week passed and I already had a pile of homework. When my classes were done for the day, I headed back to my dorm to do it.  I could tell Joey was a little upset that I wasn't paying much attention, but the weekend was coming. All around campus there are signs advertising parties, and I planned on taking Joey to it.

There is only one more day until the weekend, when I can finally relax. On my walk back to my dorm, I decided to pay some attention to the nature. Just taking this time to admire the nature, it calmed me.

In the dormitory hallways, you could faintly hear talking. The hallways I saw at the start of the year were gone. There were colorful posters, doors had color on them. It was a lot less depressing.

When I made it to my door, I felt for my keys. My stomach dropped. They weren't in my pocket. Taking my  backpack off I searched through it, but found nothing. Reaching for the doorknob, I tried to turn it. It wouldn't move. Either Joey's gone or he's napping.

I knocked on the door softly, but got no answer. Knocking harder didn't do a thing. "Damn it."
I muttered. Sliding down the door, I took my phone out. Hopefully Joey will answer his phone. Putting my phone to my ear, I waited impatiently. From inside the room I heard his phone. Usually his phone wakes him up, but it went to voicemail.

Every time someone would walk down the hallway, I looked for Joey. I did this for a while until finally I saw him. Standing up, I slung my backpack over my shoulder. "Where were you?" I asked as soon as he reached me.

"Class ran late." he said. "Didn't you bring a key?" Reaching in his pocket, Joey pulled his keys out.

"What do you think?" I asked, slightly irritated. Noticing I wasn't in the best mood, Joey stayed silent and opened the door. Following him in, I shut the door and turned the lock. I took my laptop out of my backpack and set it on my desk.

Sitting down on my bed, I took some deep breaths to calm myself. Going over my mental checklist to make sure I've done everything, I focused on the party. "Joey," I said, turning towards him, "Will you be my date to the big party, tomorrow?"

Very dramatically, Joey said, "I would love to be your date."  I tried to keep a straight face, but I failed and burst out laughing. Apparently it was contagious because Joey started to laugh as well. We laughed until we had tears in our eyes. Even though it wasn't that funny, we were so stressed it seemed hilarious.

Calming myself, I decided to practice some photo editing. My desk chair wasn't very comfy, but it was more comfortable than the classroom chairs. Digging through my backpack, I found my hard-drive with my pictures. After plugging that in, I opened my computer. While pictures were being downloaded, I opened Facebook.

All it was were pictures of family "friends" in the Bahamas or some place tropical. I was jealous, but I'm getting an education while they  just sit around using their parents money. In the corner it said my pictures were downloaded.

Clicking on the file, I looked through them all. There was one of Joey sleeping that I took (he looked cute so I wanted to take a picture), but most were around the campus. None of them seemed good enough to edit, so I went to google images to find a picture. I ended up choosing a simple tree, something easy to mess with.

Looking back at Joey, I saw he had his notebook next to him and was reading the text book. Sneakily, I grabbed my phone and started to play music softly. Joey looked up at me, then smiled. He stood up, walking over to me. To my surprise he held out a hand.

Taking his hand, he led me to the middle of my room. I saw in his hand he had my phone. The music changed to something more formal, slow paced, a romantic. "Care to dance?" he asked in a formal tone, bowing slightly.

"Why certainly." I replied in an equally formal tone. Joey put one hand on my waist, I set my hand on the small of his back. Joining our other hands, we began to "waltz" around the room. The music changed to something much more romantic. I noticed Joey smirking at me, tossing my phone aside.

Slowly backing me against the wall, I could see the lust in Joey's eyes. My back hit the wall, Joey pressing himself against me. The only space between us was our lips. He looked from my eyes, to my lips, back up to my eyes then my lips. Putting one hand on the back of my neck, he pulled me in for a kiss.

I put my hands on Joey's waist, hooking my thumbs in his belt loops. Breaking apart, we gasped for air. Resting our foreheads together in a cliche way, we steadied our breathing. "Where did that come from?" I asked.

"If I tell you, I'd have to kiss you again." Joey said. Leaning in, he pecked me on the lips. "I don't know where it came from. I just wanted to kiss you again."

Laughing, I unhooked my thumbs, pushing Joey away. It was in a teasing manner and it was obvious he knew it. "Get back to studying." I said, sitting at my desk.

"Yes ma'am." Joey said sarcastically.

"Kiss my ass."I replied. Looking at my computer screen, I wasn't happy with it so I chose a different picture. This time I chose Joey's picture, but this time I'll try to make him look like a girl. I heard a book close, meaning Joey was done. There was a tap on my shoulder and I  looked up to see Joey staring at my computer screen.

"When did you take this?" he asked.

"That's not important." I said. "What's important is that I make you look like a girl." Joey made an offended noise and walked away. There was silence for a minute, then Joey spoke. He put in,

"Make me have curly hair."

"Will do." I told him.

This will be fun.
