*daniel's p.o.v*
Over the next few days Joey was secretive and a bit on edge. I know that he has a lot on his shoulders; he has to plan the date but he is also swamped with homework. To give Joey some space, I've been going to a sea-side cliff. It helps to clear my head and relax me.
Friday came around and campus security and police were going through every dorm with a drug dog. Apparently someone tipped off the police that there were students with weed. They got to our dorm and even though we didn't have anything I was anxious and worried. The police saw that and probably thought I was guilty.
The handler and dog left and they thanked us and left. "That was scary." I said. Joey nodded, not looking up from his phone. "So, do you have anything planned yet?"
"Maybe." he said. Arguing with him to tell me would be useless so I let it drop. Taking my camera out I put it on my desk. The photography club were going to a state park to photograph stars. It sounded cool and exciting, and it seems it would be relaxing.
As I paced Joey was on his computer. The time came to meet up with the club. I grabbed a jacket and my camera, making sure I had my phone. "I have a photography club thing. I probably wont be back until early morning.
"Okay." he said. Grabbing my keys on the way out, I looked back to see if Joey had looked up but he hadn't. That made me a little sad but I brushed it off. I started to think about all the cool pictures.

The drive was a bit far, but we had to get away from the city pollution. Some set up tripods to get shots of the nature but I was focused on the stars. We were giving each other tips, some were competing to see who could take a picture.
Two guys were seeing if a phone camera or a dslr camera could take a better picture. Looking at the stars just fascinates me. Finding the constellations is fun and just relaxing under the stars is fun.
By time we needed to head back, quite a few people were asleep. Most carpooled but I didn't. I carefully put my camera in the back seat then got in my car and headed back to the campus. The clock read two in the morning.
I nearly drove off the road a few times, but I made it back to the campus unharmed. Sleep was starting to overcome me, making me walk around like I'm drunk. I hardly ever get tired like this, I was barely able to get the key in the door.
At this time Joey was asleep, his arm hanging off the bed. Quickly changing, I got under the covers. It didn't take long to fall asleep.

The next few days crawled by. Classes seemed to take forever and tons of homework was assigned. I've been in and out of my dorm room, just trying to get some rest in. Both Joey and I have stayed up late doing homework. We've hardly had any time to cuddle or have 'us' time.
Thursday came around and I was graced with cancelled classes. Sadly Joey still had classes, but it was later in the day. For most of the morning we cuddled up together and watched a movie. It was relaxing and I felt calm being close to Joey.
I had my head on Joey's chest and the computer was balanced on his legs. Just being in this spot, right next to joey, just feels so right. When the movie ended he closed his laptop and set it beside him.
"In about a half an hour I have to meet my tutor at the library." Joey said, leaning back a little so his head was closer to mine.
"I didn't know you had a tutor." I said, looking up at him. "What's it for?"
"Math." he said, rather shortly. Brushing it off, I focused back on present time. Turning on his side so we were face to face, Joey smiled at me. I saw his eyes glance down at my lips then back to my eyes. Closing the gap between our lips, Joey put a hand on the back of my head and I put a hand on his cheek.
It was a short but sweet moment. "We haven't done that in a while." Joey said laughing. The two of us hardly fit on his bed, so when he tried to lay on his back he fell off of the bed. He swore, laying there. "I'm to ashamed to get up."
Rolling over I looked over the edge to see Joey laying on his back, staring at the ceiling. He noticed me leaning over the edge and said, "You're coming down here with me." and grabbed my arm. Pulling hard, he dragged me off the bed.
On the floor together, side by side, we just laughed. While on the floor, we came up with scenarios that will never happen. "What if," I said, "I found out you were cheating on me."
"That would never happen." Joey said. "You're to much fun. No one is as fun as you." Sighing, I intertwined our hands. A few moments later, Joey's phone goes off. He sat up, digging it out of his pocket.
The conversation was quick and Joey looked down at me. "Sorry, I have to go meet my tutor now. I probably won't be back until this evening, I have class after this." He stood up then held out a hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me up.
Giving me a quick peck on the lips, he gathered his stuff and left. When the door closed, it was instant boredom. I took my phone out and texted Sasha to see if she was busy. A few minutes later she said that she was just in her dorm and invited me over.
Making sure I had all that I needed, I locked the door behind me and headed over to Sasha's dorm.

Sorry I haven't updated in a little while. I hope this is good. just a bit of fluff is good for the fangirls heart.
I have tried to write a much as possible. Now that I have my exams over I can (hopefully) write more often. Because of that, I took the partial hiatus out of the title.
I'm not sure how many chapters are left. I guess it depends on if I have more content for this or not.
see you next time,
