Amina's POV:
Marcus just dropped me off. He is so cute. I can't wait for our date. What should I wear? Oh my god, it's already tomorrow. Shit!
"Amina? Is that you? Why are you cursing at this hour in the middle of the night? Are you okay?" I could hear my roommate say.
"Oh yeah, you don't even know. I just had the best night of my life. You remember Marcus?", I asked.
"Yes, I do. Oh my god, tell me everything!" She said pulling me on the couch.
"Well, we kinda hung out today, things happened and he asked me out. I asked him what we are, you know like as in a relationship. And we pretty much are dating I guess." I told her as I just realized that I'm actually dating him. Well, that developed fast...
"Oh my god!" Alisha was shocked, like really shocked.
"Yeah, well I'm really tired. I'm gonna go to sleep. See ya tomorrow." I smiled as a goodbye.
"Yeah, we most certainly will" She winked goodbye laughing.
I rolled my eyes laughing.
I want the night to end. And then I can get ready for our date tomorrow. That's going to be hard, I seriously don't know how to get ready for an actual date. I mean I do. But things with Marcus seem different compared to my past relationships with other guys. I was always good at these types of things, flirting, dating, just everything.
But now? Wow, I just am not sure about things. Because when I'm with Marcus everything seems different. I really like him. Like a lot. Literally. I can't control myself. I've only known him for what, like a week? I can't believe it, I'm dating a guy I just met.
Well, Marcus isn't just any guy. He isn't regular. There's more to him than I thought. He isn't one of those stupid usual college boys that want to hook up with you and party. I feel like he is way more developed, mature, and serious about this. I couldn't be any luckier.
