Scumpii's POV
We had finally finished signing things and cleaning up the event hall. I walked over to the squad and immediately noticed Pamaj wasn't there.
"Yo, guys, where's Pamaj?" I asked. Everyone looked around in confusion.
"No one knows?!" I raised an eyebrow at them. That's weird.
Austin's POV
I had cleaned up my area fairly quickly and then I went into the hallway. I decided listening to music was the best idea, it always is. I was so bored and then I remembered. I can text (f/n)! I smiled and took my phone from my pocket; the music still booming from the speakers. I carefully typed in her number that she had written on my arm and I stopped. What do I say? My fingers hovered over the keypad for awhile and finally I thought it would be best if I just said hello.
A- Hello (f/n) its Austin
(f/n)- Hey Austin! How are you?
A- I'm good, you?
(f/n)- I'm pretty good
A- What are you up to?
(f/n)- nothing really, do you know of any hotels nearby that are fairly cheap?
A- Why?
(f/n)- well I didn't make enough to pay rent and now its trouble in paradise
A- oh no! Well, if you want you chill at the OpTic house until you find somewhere to stay
(f/n)- Are you sure?
A- Positive
I sent her the address and told her is be there soon. I walked into the event hall and found the squad.
"Hey, so, I have a friend that just lost her house, so you guys think she can chill at the house for awhile?" I asked them.
"Yeah dude no problem," FormaL answered," but she ain't getting my bed." We all laughed and I waved goodbye. I got in my car and drove to the house.
(f/n)'s POV
I got to a large house in a beautiful neighborhood and I awkwardly sat on the front step because no one was home. A car pulled into the driveway and I smiled when Austin stepped out of it. He walked up to me and pulled out his keys.
"Hey, (f/n), glad you found the place," he smiled, his brown eyes sparkling with the reflection of setting sun. I hadn't really noticed before, but when I'm around him the world seems to stand still. He opened the door and motioned me inside.
"Welcome home!" he smiled.
