Austin's POV
It was finally time for the tournament. (f/n) and I were getting into my car. It took a little while to get to the hotel, but we made it just Fine and we talked the whole way there.
"I can't believe the tournament is tomorrow," (f/n) sighed.
"Oh? How come? " I questioned.
"It just seems so soon," she giggled. We parked and grabbed our things. After the long check in process and almost losing our reservation, we made it to our room. Scumpii and BigT met us in the room. We laughed because Scump and BigT has to share a bed.
"If I wake up and you're spooning me, I will shove you onto the floor," Scump threatened.
"Aww, I wanted to cuddle," BigT teased. Scumpii rolled his eyes and we all got into bed.
~timeskip to the next morning~
After waking up and eating breakfast, all the optic members got dressed.
"Alright, we're in event hall 4, so let's go," I said. We made it to the event hall, but something wasn't right.
"We seem to be missing one," BigT pointed out.
"You guys go check in I'll find (f/n)," I told them. I walked around the corner and (f/n) was sitting on the floor up against the wall. She looked up at me, tears spilling from her beautiful eyes. I kneeled down next to her.
"I'm no where near your guys skill level. I'm going to mess it up for all of you," she sniffed. I sighed and gently moved the hair from her face.
"You know, a wise person once showed me that it's better to live a life of 'oh well's', than a life of 'what if's," I took her cheek in my hand and turned her face towards me.
"They showed me that it's always better not to think about the bad things that could happen, but instead think about winning the tournament and how happy that'd make me," I smiled. She giggled a bit before she stood up, taking me with her.
"You ready?" I said pulling her toward the door.
"I am now," she smiled running after me.

We were both tied and the next kill would decide the winner. The stage was silent and I could hear my heart beating intensely. Then before I knew it "Victory" was up on my screen. I jumped upon with the rest of my team and screamed out of pure happiness. They final kill cam came on and showed (f/n) sniping someone. I walked over to her and she bear hugged me, almost tackling me. I laughed and when we pulled away she kissed me.
"Thank you," she giggled.
"Looks like things have gone full circle, huh?" I laughed.
"You could say that," she smiled and kissed me again.
