(f/n)'s POV
I woke up and looked around. I smiled as I got out of bed. I went downstairs and saw Austin still asleep on the couch.
"Get up sleepy head," I giggled as I shook him. He rolled over and off of the couch with a thud! I began to laugh and soon he joined in.
"You alright?" I asked.
"Never better," he responded. I held out my hand and he took it. I helped him up and we sat on the couch.
"Hey, so, uh, I'm supposed to be going to Canada today and I was wondering if you wanted to come seeing as all your things are still packed," he explained.
"I'd love to!" I smiled and hugged him.
"We leave for the airport in about 3 hours, so if you need to do anything you've got time," he told me.
"Ok, cool, I'm going to get dressed," I said as I ran up the stairs.
~3 HOUR TIME SKIP~
Austin's POV
The uber I had called finally arrived and we loaded our things into the trunk. I got in and (f/n) did the same.
"You ready?" I asked.
"I think so,"she smiled. We talked all the way to the airport. It was dark when we stepped out of the car. We got inside just as a torrential downpour began. It was the worst storm I'd seen in awhile.
"Oh no,"she stared out the window.
"What?" I asked.
"Do you think the flight will be canceled?" she answered.
"I hope not," I replied. We checked in and the lady warned us that our flight might be canceled. We checked our stuff in and then we sat down. We waited and waited.
"Hey, you want to get some food?" I questioned.
"Yeah, that sounds great," she said. We found a small café and ate there. After we ate we began to walk, talk, and shop a bit. It was actually a lot of fun. We had made it back to the gate where we were going to wait for the plane to board.
"That was fun," she smiled.
"Yeah, I don't think I've had that much fun in an airport before," I smiled back. I leaned against a post and (f/n) stood in front of me. All of a sudden all the power in the airport went out.
"The storm must have knocked the power out," I sighed. Dim red emergency lights flickered on.
(f/n)'s POV
I unplugged my head phones and put then away. As I looked around I realized that Austin and I were practically the only ones at the gate so I decided to play some music. I unlocked my phone and searched for a good song. I finally settled on All About Us by He Is We Feat. Owl City. The song played and broke through the pattering of the rain. The slow melody played and Austin looked at me.

He smiled at me and held out his hand. I took it as I set down my phone. He pulled me into the large empty space near the gate. He brought me close to him as he began to dance. I soon followed his lead.
