~about a month or so has passed since the end of the last chapter~
Austin's POV
A new tournament was being advertised on the tv and I smiled. Scumpii and I looked at each other. We both had the same idea.
"We entering?" I asked.
"You know it!" he replied.
"Wait, we don't have four people right now. FormaL is still in L.A." I sighed.
"What about (f/n)? She can wear your old Jersey," Scump suggested.
"You're a genius!" I laughed.
"I know," he smirked.
I jumped up off the couch and went down to the bottom floor.
"(f/n)!!!" I yelled.
"What Austin?!" she laughed. I flopped down on the couch next to her.
"Whatcha doing?" I tilted my head slightly.
"Streaming CoD Remastered," she giggled. She paused the game and kissed my cheek. She resumed the game and soon she had won the match. She turned towards him.
"So, what did you want?" she questioned.
"Well, there's a new tournament about to start and we don't have enough players soooooo......" he trailed off.
"You want me to be your last player?! You want me to join the Optic team?!" she asked excitedly.
"Yes! Pleaseeeeeee?" he pleaded.
"I don't know, I'm not really up to you're guys skill," she explained.
"You are too," he smiled, "please?"
"Alright," she sighed.
"Yes! Thank you!" he jumped upon and yelled.
"You're welcome," she laughed.
"I'll give you the details when I get them," he told her.
"Alright," she responded. He kissed her and ran back upstairs. She shook her head and laughed.
"Well, guess I'm part of the Optic team now," she said to her stream.
~later that day~
(f/n)'s POV
I had finished streaming and I was now watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Austin came downstairs and had something in his hands.
"Here," he handed me what looked like an Optic gaming jersey. A look of confusion spread across my face.
"Its for the tournament, you have to wear something Optic gaming related. Its my old jersey, it the best thing we have until we get you your own," he laughed. I smiled and hugged him.
"Thank you," I buried my head in the crook of his neck. He chuckled. He kissed the top of my head and pulled me onto the couch. I grabbed two controllers and gave one to him.
"Let's practice," I giggled.
"You're on," he grinned.
