My head shot up and before a question could be asked I was racing like a shot through the house and outside. I lifted my head and heard the scream again and took off thinking "God don't let it be her!" I could hear Tyler racing after me but I didn't care I was racing through the woods narrowly missing trees as I went weaving through the after the scent.
I could hear Tyler yelling for me to slow down but I kept racing on. I knew who the scream was coming from, dear God I knew and the fear that I would not make it in time was tearing my heart out. Tyler caught up but still I didn't stop I tore into the clearing as another scream pierced the skies.
"Mommy, help me!!!! "
"Kyrie!!!" I screamed in pure hatred as I saw the rogue holding a young five year old girl. My daughter. I ran at the rogue with my claws and canines flashing as I phased in midair and ripped his head off causing his now limp arms to release their hold on her as I hit the ground and phased back.
"Mommy!!" she screamed again as she ran into my arms with tears streaming down her face.
I enveloped my daughter in a hug as her arms flew around my neck and she hid her face in my neck still crying. I looked up at Tyler his eyes cloaked in confusion and shock as he looks at Kryie wrapped in my arms with her face masked by both my own hair and hers.
"Y-you're d-daughter...." Tyler breathed as he walked to where I was crouched on the ground.
"Can I please explain later, Tyler, I only want to get Kyrie home right now." I said tears threatening my own eyes as I felt Kyrie's hitching sobs stop and her breathing slow as she drifted off into sleep.
I stood up barely acknowledging Tyler's answer to my question as I headed back to the house with Kyrie in my arms. I could hear Tyler jogging behind me until he was next to me and slowed to match my slow walk so as not to wake Kyrie.
"Let me carry her, Star." Tyler's voice broke through my thoughts as we kept walking.
I held on to her a little tighter before I loosened my arms and gently slipped her into Tyler's. Smiling I watched as Kyrie slipped her arms around Tyler's neck and quietly mumbled Daddy in her sleep. Tyler's eyes widened and I thought he would give her back to me, but instead he tightened his arms around her gently and kept her tightly wrapped in his arms.
We got to the house and I went to take Kyrie from Tyler so I could go lie her down but when I saw Tyler tighten his arms around her I let him keep her and walked up the stairs to her room. I was being very careful not to show how nervous I was, I mean I was terrified at what Tyler would do once Kyrie was safely tucked into her bed, but out of all the things he could yell at me the only thing I truly feared was him leaving. I tucked Kyrie carefully into bed and then walked back downstairs where Tyler was sitting talking to John and Jasmine.
"Tyler, um here are the keys to the three houses I promised near the edge of Pack borders, my wolves just finished furnishing the places," I said as I handed them each their own envelope with the keys in them, "I hope y'all like the way they were decorated."
"Oh my goodness, Star, how did you get them done so quickly?" Jasmine said as she got the key from the envelope.
"I had a lot of wolves working on them. I, uh, can take you to see them now if you want." I said as I slipped my boots back on.
"That would be great!" Jasmine yelled as she jumped up and hugged me. I hugged her tightly and then let her go so she could get her shoes on. John and Tyler stood up and followed me outside with Jasmine trailing behind us. I took of down a small trail that was a direct line from the three houses to mine.
I stopped at the end of the trail and smiled as I heard them gasp when they saw how big the houses were. John and Jasmine both took off to the houses that were farthest from the middle house, with each separated by two miles between the houses with huge yards so the kids they would have one day would have more than enough room to play and just be kids. I was still smiling at how quickly the two had taken to the houses that I had forgotten about Tyler standing behind me, at least I had until he spoke.
"Star, I need to talk to you."
"Um sure, Tyler, what do you need?" My heart clenched and I was terrified that he would say he was leaving.
"Face me, Star," Taking a deep breath I turned and looked at him, "I want you to do something for me."
"Well, what do you want me to do, Tyler." I said as I quietly let out a sigh of relief as I could tell in his eyes nothing bad was going to happen.
"I want you to go back to your house and get all of yours and Kyrie's stuff and bring it here." He said as he gently brushed my hair away from my face and the touch of his fingers on my skin sent shivers down my spine.
"What do you mean, Tyler?" I said as he cupped my cheek and I slipped my hand on top of his.
"Move in with me, Star, you and Kyrie, we can be a family! Star, please, I love you too much to know I won't be in the same house as you," He said as he looked into my eyes, "I'll adopt Kyrie, I asked your brothers about it they said that through lawyers in the Pack I can adopt her even though I'm not twenty-one yet."
"Tyler, you know what you're saying, right?"
"Yes, Star, I know what I'm saying. Please, move in with me."
"Tyler, what about my bro-"
"Your brothers are grown men, Star, they can take care of themselves," He said and I started to respond with something about how much I hate to be interrupted when he continued, "Star, please, I love you so much. Please, move in with me."
"Yes, Tyler, I'll move in with you. I love you too." I said as I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.
Slipping his arms around my waist he picked me up and spun me around as we kissed before he set me down and all the fear I had felt earlier in the day disappeared as I felt his hand tangle in my hair while his other hand rested on my waist and pressed me closer to him as I tangled my hands in his hair and a thrill went through me as I heard his soft moan as we continued to kiss. Out of no where Tyler picked me up and carried me towards the house in the middle bridal style. Never breaking the kiss Tyler supported my weight with one arm and opened the door and kicked it back shut.
A few seconds later, I felt my body hit his soft bed and his weight gently resting on top of mine as I grabbed the hem of his tight fitting grey t-shirt and quickly pulled it off of him breaking our kiss for only a moment before our lips crashed together less than a second after he had pulled my shirt above my head my bra going with it. I moaned as I felt his hands move gently over my stomach up to my breasts as I felt him begin to kiss down my neck with his teeth and fangs gently scraping along until they encountered the place where my shoulder met my neck.
I gasped as I felt his fangs and teeth scraping my neck and instinctively arched my neck in an offering for him to mark me as I felt my own canines coming out. As we both sunk our teeth into that small spot of skin which would mark us forever as the others.

I woke up the next morning basking in the glow of what had happened the night before as I felt my naked body pressed against Tyler's wrapped in the tangle of sheets of sheets that our passion had caused the night before. I left my head resting on his shoulder even when I heard his breathing change to indicate that he was waking up. I felt Tyler's finger start gently tracing up and down my spine as we lay there. Looking up at him, I gently kiss his lips as his eyes open to stare up into my mine.
"Good morning." I said as I gently brushed a small part of his hair from his eyes.
"Good morning, Beautiful." He said is his sexy half asleep voice and I moaned as he ducked his head and gently kissed the mark and where he had taken a small amount of blood from me when he marked me in the vampire way the night before.
"You're my life now, Star."
