The Friendly Alien

"Who are you?" Ellen asked.

"Can't reveal my name just yet, too risky!" The man said.

"Wait, you're the man from yesterday! You came to my door!" Ellen stated in a panicky state.

"That is correct. Correctamundo!!! Okay, I'm never saying that again!" The strange man also state in a comic state.

"Are you an alien?" Ellen implored, twisting her fingers anxiously.

"Yes, but not like the aliens that are in your school right now. They are evil, but I'm not. I'm a good alien. A friendly alien. I need your help to defeat these aliens. They're called the Brotons, from the Helious Nebula, in the galaxy next to mine." The Alien said.

"Not really understanding any of this, but ok, yeah, let's go defeat some aliens!"

"I need a really big net!"

Ellen was worried about the whole alien thing, but she played along anyway, "Oh, I think there's one in the caretaker's cupboard!"

"Caretaker!? I like the sound of that! Let's go!"

The Alien grabbed Ellen by her arm and together they raced into the school. They quietly ran to the caretaker's cupboard, but it was locked. Ellen used a nearby paper clip to unlock the cupboard, and, luckily, there was a huge net at the back. Ellen picked it up and followed the alien into the hall.

"Quick, catch one!" Yelled the strange man whose name Ellen still did not know.

Ellen jumped up and swung the net in the air. She caught three big creatures! On her first try! She felt so proud, but also weird that she was holding an alien. The man told Ellen to put the aliens in a cage that was very conveniently right behind her, and she placed them there and locked the cage. She caught two more and also put them in the cage. She caught some more, the alien helping her now, and together they caught 32 more in the next 10 minutes. That was all of them, apart from one. The biggest, the leader of the pack. That's Mrs Kelly then, Ellen thought. The alien ran away for some reason, so Ellen tried to improvise. She kept circling the big green creature with long, bony wings. The alien man came back with a hammer. He threw it across the room. The hammer was spinning at the speed of light, (slight exaggeration), and hit the Mrs Kelly creature so hard, that she/it fell into a pizza box that just happened to be on the floor. Ellen ran to pick up a chair, and then she threw it down on the alien, wanting it to die. She thought they were dangerous. People had probably died because of the brutal Brotons, and people will probably keep on dying if she and her new best friend didn't stop them. The man threw the alien corpse into the cage with all of the other aliens, and they started eating their leader's body.

Ellen couldn't believe shed been so foolish as to believe that these creatures were actually her teachers. But everyone else had believed it too, so that made Ellen feel a lot better.

"What's your name, by the way?" The man asked.

"I'm Ellen! And who are you? I know you're an alien but you haven't told me your name yet." Ellen replied, curious.

"Tadzi. It means Loon."

"Cool, I'll just call you Loon then, you Lunatic!" Ellen told him sarcastically.

"I don't mind." Tadzi replied seriously.

"Tadzi, I was joking! Time for a SELFIE!!" Ellen sang, holding up her phone and clicking it.

"Wow, that was awesome! This is definitely going on Instagram!" Ellen sang again as she tweeted and insta-d and tumbled and snapped.

Suddenly Rosalinda, Annie and Cleo burst into the hall. They all ran up to Ellen and hugged her tightly. Very tightly. So tightly, that Ellen almost couldn't breathe.

"They refused to leave. They didn't want to leave you." Rosalinda told Ellen.

"Thanks guys!"

"Ellen, I would like you to come travelling with me! Your friends can come too!"Tadzi announced.

"We can't just leave everything to go whizzing round the galaxy with you!"

"Did I forget to mention that my vehicle travels in time as well as space?!" Tadzi said.

"Awesome!!! Ok, I'll come!" Ellen said gleefully.

"ME TOO!" Ellen's friends sang in unison.

Tadzi took the girls out the school, throwing the aliens in a bin, and jumped into his time machine. Ellen couldn't believe it. She was actually in a spaceship/time machine! All around her there were buttons and levers and knobs. She didn't know what they did, but they probably did something awesome. When Ellen, Rosalinda, Cleo and Annie had got in, with their seat-belts fastened, they heard a strange noise behind them. Suddenly Jonah Towner popped up behind Ellen. He had obviously not gone home either. He probably stayed under that table for the entire battle and then just followed Ellen and her friends to Tadzi's vehicle. But he knew all about the Brotons, so she had no choice but to let him travel with them.

"Hey everyone!" Jonah squealed, his voice not broken yet.

"Ugh, Jonah!? What are you doing here? It's like, totally girls only!" Rosalinda complained rudely.

"One: don't be sexist, and Two: I'm pretty sure he's not a girl." Jonah replied, pointing at Tadzi.

"Tadzi, thanks for today. You saved my life, literally. Don't know what'll happen to the school though. But seriously, thank you. For everything." Ellen whispered to Tadzi.

"It's fine. So, where do you wanna go, kids?" Tadzi asked.

Ellen replied happily, "Somewhere awesome!"
