All 7 of the travellers were pushed out of the taxi before the bright green vehicle zoomed off, literally, into the future. Drikto was too scared to drive them all the way to the Blackwell Starfields.
So, they got up from the muddy pool that they had fallen in, and stared out in front of them at a huge forest.
They trekked through the branches and huge purple leaves, and came upon an escalator.
"The Stairway To Heaven!" Gina exclaimed.
"Or Hell, it depends on how you look at it." Tadzi argued.
The group glanced around as they escalated on the golden staircase in the sky. They looked at the Purple Lakes of Oransola. There were green fish in the lakes, swimming about, exploring the whole length of their magnificent habitat. The gang reached the top of the escalator and saw a massive hotel-like building ahead. They entered the hotel, called the Ekromani Inn. Ellen didn't know what that meant, but it was pretty weird. There was a tiny foyer in the hotel, and only three doors in front. Annie shot a look of excitement at Cleo. After that, Annie ran straight through the door of number three to reveal a darkness. None of the team could see through it. Annie was falling, that was all they could see, followed by a cat-strangling scream in the pitch black. Ellen, Rosalinda and Cleo looked horrified, but Jonah looked like he was going mad.
"ANNNNIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"Cleo screamed. She had just lost one of her best friends. But, hopefully, one day they might be together again soon.
"I'm sorry," Tadzi began, "It's too late, she's already gone..."
For the next fifteen minutes, the only thing you could hear in the whole of the Starfields was Cleo's soft, quiet sobbing, murmuring about all of the fun she had with Annie.
"Right, we need to figure out which door to choose!" Gina informed them.
"Thanks for stating the obvious, darling." Tadzi exclaimed.
"You two should know, you've been here before!" Rosalinda told the Royals.
"No, Rosalinda, you don't quite understand. You see, it's different every time. The last time me and Tadzi came here, we went through door 43. The numbers change, but what's inside is always the same. One of them, a Blackwell. That's how this place got its name. The second one, there is said to be mini, red demons with wings that pull you in, bite the flesh off you and put you to work as their slaves. And the third, there are rivers of gold, it's called The Ultimate Starfield. Instead of a Black-Well, in this one, there's a Whitewell. The opposite of a WhiteWell, all of your dreams are in there." Gina told them.
"The reason it's a hotel is because it takes days for some people to make a decision." Tadzi informed,
"So," Jonah started, "We need to work out which door to open! Annie went through door number three, so that means that The Ultimate Starfield must be in door number two." He said, trying to sound clever.
"Are you absolutely sure, Jonah? This is a matter of life and death!" Ellen asked Jonah.
"Well actually it's a guess, but I think we should go down the middle!" He replied sheepishly.
Ellen ran up and kicked down the door of number two. Inside, there was what looked like an elevator. The gang of six, (Tadzi, Gina, Ellen, Rosalinda, Cleo and Jonah), all tumbled into the elevator, to discover there were no buttons. Suddenly, the doors started closing.
"AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!! LET US OUT! GET US OUT OF HERE, IM GETTING CLAUSTROPHOBIC!!!!!! HELP! HELP! HELP!" That was all that could be heard for miles. Actually, I was lying. No one could hear them. They were trapped in there. Forever!
The elevator started shaking and, after a few minutes, plunged down into the everlasting darkness. It was falling faster than the speed of light, and sound, and Usain Bolt. The elevator finally stopped and everything was dark.
"Let's hope it's not the demons." Tadzi hoped, moving about awkwardly as there was no room to move in the elevator.
The dizzy passengers watched as the elevator opened onto a scene of light, blinding them. They stumbled out and stared at strange scenery. For the children, it was so bizarre. Already, they had seen an alien planet, been in an alien palace, and now lost a friend in an alien paradise.
"Wow! This is.....awesome!" Cleo commented.
The children ran out into the golden fields merrily. They all ran for miles and miles. Carefully, the royal couple approached the WhiteWell and looked down into it.
"Wow!" whispered Jonah.
"It's made of diamonds, and crystals, and rubies and sapphires and all the jewels you can think of! Inside there is said to be an ultimate paradise. But you would die if you go into it. You would only live there as a spirit!" Tadzi remarked.
The children slowly stepped closer to the magical alien portal in the ground. Suddenly, the ground started vibrating and the children panicked and screamed. Jonah fell on to a sponge-patch, a mix between a trampoline and quicksand, and started flying across the sky. Cleo and Ellen ran over to try and help him, but every time they had a grip on him, he would fling up into the air again. After fifteen minutes of trying, Jonah started sinking into the floor.
"There's only so much trampoline the sponge-patch can handle, and then the quicksand kicks in!" Tadzi told the girls.
Cleo grabbed Jonah's hand as he started being sucked into the ground, and as he descended into the mud, she pulled so hard and stumbled back right into the WhiteWell.
Ellen lay on the floor, sobbing. She seen two friends die in one second. Lost three friends in one day. That must be a world record, She thought...
