On the last night before Christian and party will leave for Japan, the Napyarda siblings, the half sisters, and Benedict gathered around the receiving area. The bags were all packed; it seemed like Christian was ready to depart from the family forever and start a new life abroad.
Christian sat at the front of the black piano, while Benedict and Jessicca ran to get the guitar and the cajon.
"It's a good thing I wanted to do this," Christian said, "because sooner or later, I will miss the sounds for a very long time."
"And we will miss you too," Ian replied, "We just hope you make it in Japan."
"Thank you brother," Christian replied.
"Keep an eye on him for us, Benedict," Jessicca told him, "He may be a little off sometimes."
"Well, I'm not the only one," Benedict replied, "There's still Varra!" At that statement, both he and the breeder blushed while the rest laughed.
At this point, Christian began to play the intro to a familiar song from 217 Rearrangements ago in the key of F#, then suddenly, he sang:
" Adik sa'yo / awit sa akin/ Nilang sawa na sa 'king / mga kuwentong marathon"
Everyone felt the feel of the music as he played the piano and sang.
"Tungkol sa 'yo / at sa ligayang / iyong hatid, sa aking buhay / Tuloy ang bida sa isipan ko'y ikaw !"
Jessicca and Benedict joined along by playing the guitar and the piano, but at this point, Christian was interrupted by Quvarranna singing the chorus perfectly, and her voice instantly captivated him.
"Sa umaga't sa gabi / sa bawa't minutong lumilipas, / hinahanap-hanap kita / hinahanap-hanap kita / Sa isip at panaginip / bawat pagpihit ng tadhana / hinahanap-hanap kita..."
"I taught her that," Ben told him while she sang, continuing on to the second verse. "You sure did!" Christian replied, "I'm impressed."
"Ang ating ending / hatid sa bahay nyo / Sabay goodnight, sabay may kiss / sabay bye-bye, Oh"
Around this verse, Christian joined her, and they sang harmoniously together until the end. At the last chorus and the coda, everyone joined in singing, but it was only the two "lovebirds" who sang the last two lines twice:
"Hahanap-hanapin ka / Hahanap-hanapin ka"
...
Everyone applauded at that song, and then Christian played another intro familiar to the siblings. This time, it was Jessicca who began:
"Nitong umaga lang, / pagka lambing-lambing / ng iyong mga matang / hayup kung tumingin. / Nitong umaga lang, / pagka galing-galing / ng iyong sumpang / walang aawat sa atin."
And amazingly, at this point Quill joined her in perfect harmony along with Denise:
"O kay bilis namang maglaho ng / pag-ibig mo sinta, / Daig mo pa ang isang kisapmata. / Kanina'y naryan lang o ba't / bigla namang nawala. / Daig mo pa ang isang kisapmata."
Christian, Benedict, and Ian sang the second verse in a lower version of the same key: F#.
"Kani-kanina lang, / pagka ganda-ganda / ng pagkasabi mong / 'Sana'y tayo na nga.' / Kani-kanina lang, / pagka saya-saya / ng buhay kong / bigla na lamang nag-iba."
And to conclude their rendition, they sang the chorus twice, holding at the last high note, before finishing.
"That was fun!" Christian said as he closed the piano cover, and then he sighed, "I will really miss this."
"Don't worry," Jessicca replied, "We'll have this every time we meet. Bon voyage!"
On that note, everyone departed to their rooms and slept for the night.
