The next few weeks working with the jellymers were normal, except for Marinna clinging to Dardanelle a few times. The number of customers was tolerable, and the days were quite in their favor.

Suddenly, a butterfly Type OV entered the shop and asked Cadissy, "Is Dani in?"

"Who's Dani?" the jellymer DJ asked back.

"You know," the Entomonian replied, "Dardanelle, the runaway bride?"

"Uh...," Cadissy replied, "Dardanelle?! Someone is looking for you!"

"Who?" Dardanelle asked as she looked around the area, and when she saw the customer, she exclaimed, "Oh no."

Of course, the customer also looked at her and exclaimed, "There you are, Dani! We need to go back now!"

"But I don't wanna get married with Arneus, Ixie! You know I love Damien more than him!" Dardanelle replied.

"What's this?!" Benedict asked, "Dardanelle's getting married to someone already?"

"It's arranged," Damien replied, "And we were trying to avoid it for as long as we can by eloping."

"You're hiding from an arranged marriage, Dardanelle?" Marinna asked.

"Yes," Ixie replied, "Their family has agreed to let Dardanelle marry my brother for business. However, as we try, both of them do not agree with each other. And besides, Dani, I'll take really good care of Damien for you."
She fluttered over to Damien and gave him a kiss right on the lips. He winced, while Dardanelle's blood began to boil.

"Calm down," Ben said to her.

"Calm down?!" Dardanelle replied, "Calm down?! You're telling me to calm down when I've seen all the evidence! And you, Damien! I thought it would only be us."

"Dardanelle, it's not what it looks like," Damien pleaded, "Please, listen to me."

"I said I've had enough!" she replied, "Leave me be! And as for YOU, Benedict, I QUIT! I'm pretty sure that the trail of blood I'm leaving is not conducive to your business. "

Tears began rolling down her eyes as she looked at them in sadness and anger, then she quickly flew out the doors. "We did not say anything to her!" Benedict said.

"Nor did we," the jellymers added.

"I'll take her home then," Ixie said before giving Damien one last kiss on the cheek. Then she flew out of the store while the three men and the girl stood transfixed at the scene that occurred.

"I bet Christian has an explanation about this," Benedict conjectured, "Let's go ask him."

...

The young proprietor was busily working on his newest tune when Benedict and company stormed his room.

"CHRISTIAN!" he barked.

"Javlar fytta," Chris swore back, "Why?"

"Do you know about the arranged marriage?" Ben asked.

"You weren't supposed to know that!" Christian replied, "It was supposed to be secret, in order not to damage the reputation of D and D!"

"But their reputations were shattered," Benedict replied, "so now you can explain it."

"What happened Damien?" Christian asked.

"I dare not speak of it," he replied.

"It's ayt," Cadissy replied, "We all know what happened but him."

"Ixie, Dardanelle's friend, kissed him full in the lips," Marinna replied, "right in front of Dardanelle."

"Hmm," Christian replied, "I think I've heard the name before. Rather, I have seen it on Facebook." He got online on his account and checked the friend requests; it was true. One of the names was "Ixie Malabarikka", and a picture of a butterfly breeder similar to Dardanelle but with white and black skin, hair and wings appeared beside the name. He clicked on the name and checked out her profile. "She has an older brother named Demetrius Malabarikka, and is madly in love with Damien. Even a picture of her room says that she has tons upon tons of pictures of him," Christian said, "What a flirtatious stalker."

"Demetrius is a close friend of mine," Damien said, "He understands our relationship better than no one else does."

"I thought Dardanelle was flirtatious," Ben asked.

"In a good way, yes," Christian replied, "but Ixie's more of a crazier type. Manic, I'd say."

"How?" both jellymers asked.

"99% of her videos in YouTube and ThreadPost are all about Damien," Christian replied, "and she screams for him."

"That girl, if partnered with Damien, won't do any good to him," Cadissy replied, "The chemistry will be bad. However with Dardanelle, the chemistry is just perfection."

"How do you know?" Damien asked.

"I took a minor in social psychology," Cadissy replied, "the subjects I took were about personality, love, sex, hate, prejudice, and some political matters. Also, I deejayed at a cocktail party filled with psychologists, and they were there. Didn't you hear Damien and Dardanelle say 'Hey! We saw you from that party!' when we introduced each other?"

"Oh," Christian and Ben replied.

"It would be the best option overall," Marinna replied, "to stop the wedding."

"I vote against that," Damien replied, "Whatever His plan is, I trust Him. All I pray is that she be safe in Demetrius's arms."
