She looked down curving her lips downwards.
"And hero as well." He pulled her cheeks and turned to go but halted feeling a tug at his hand. He shook his head and turned to her after letting out a deep sigh. "I'll take you home, Ishita. Just relax."
"I didn't stop you for that." She blinked cutely at him.
"Then what?" He flicked his eyebrow.
"Hmm...I-I wanted to tell you that, I...actually...am not angry on you...for, last night." She completed looking everywhere but him. He beheld her with a sheepish grin adorning his face. "I didn't mean to trouble you. I...I didn't feel bad...when you, I mean we-" She felt it awkward and impossible to word out her feelings in front of him.
He closed her stutter mouth by his forefinger and shook his head negatively. "I understand, baba." He closed his eyes assuring her and got up to leave.
"Still you don't want to kiss me, Raman?" She groused at him making him stop on his track in surprise.
"I think I'm going to take you home to do that." He caressed her head and came out of her bedroom.
After stepping out of her house, he peeped inside making one adorable face and called out. "Ishita! j
Jaan..., come on. How much time you'll take to come next-door?" He sounded irritated. When he told her about taking her home, she would not have thought that he would do it this sooner. She jolted up from her bed hearing his call while amma and Vandu were smiling happily at his endearment. How many bad things he used to describe woman as a whole! Moreover, Ishita was one resentful soul as far as Raman has concerned. However, now, he is calling her his life! They could not believe anything. Vandu knows that Ishita and Raman have moved on and are trying to be like normal couple in all sense but she could not get to the depth of their relationship that was still a mystery. They always amaze her!
Once composing after the pleasant shock, Ishita came out of her room to check if she has heard him right or she was in delusion. When she noticed him standing outside, checking his wristwatch time-to-time, she comprehended that she was not in some delightful reverie. Fixing her dress looking at her busy husband, she walked up to him eying a pleasant goodbye to her amma and akka. She was over the moon and that was visible in her body language.
"I'm ready." She murmured looking down on the floor as she felt her eyelids heavy and her body shivering in anticipation of what would be awaiting her in the Bhalla's. Her assertion sounded tempting as he gulped looking at her crimson form.
Unlike the other day when her family did her bidaai and her in-laws did her grihpravesh, she felt so good today. Then she felt nothing tickling in her stomach or was not at all in a mood to expect anything from her husband, but now, she could not help think about all shameful things as she had been expecting many more from their relationship.
When he held her hand and dragged her gently along with him to his home, their home, blowing a sneaky peck on her cheek, she kept on looking at him dreamily. She could feel a moister down her cheeks as her eyes had rained down by then. She wanted to crush him in her arms for making her happy and desired. She could feel his hold tightening by each step he has taken as if he is assuring himself that she is not uncomfortable.
On watching Ishita with Raman, everyone who was busy with their breakfast got up from their seats to ogle surprised. Well, that was more of a shock. They did not expect Raman to bring Ishita home on his own, as he never does any compromises with his ego. Om was thinking that he would need to declare a strike on Raman to bring back Ishita but all their predictions went down the drain as the villain himself brought the girl home!
