"It's okay, Raman. I'll consult when I'll go to clinic tomorrow. You don't need to worry." She said politely only to see him shooting daggers at her. "Kyaa...!" She wondered quizzically.
[What]

"I didn't talk to Dr Ishita but Mrs Raman Bhalla. So it's final. I'm taking you to hospital, alright?"

She nodded giggling but their small fight got interrupted by Ruhi's invasion. "Papa, what happened to Ishima?" The little girl's eyes moistened watching Ishita flinching in pain while Raman stroking her bare stomach.

"Ishima is alright, baby." Ishita tried faking glee while Raman felt like punching her nose for lying to Ruhi.

"Ishima has a tiny tummy pain, Rooh." Raman cleared earning a cold stare from her.

"Awww Ishima! Your tummy upset!" Ruhi ran to her and slipped on her right side that was empty. "I'll give you kissie, then you'll be fine." Ruhi beamed and kissed Ishita's stomach making her giggle feeling the softest kiss she has ever gotten.

"I can also give this medicine." He winked at Ishita making her blush but Ruhi snapped them.

"...but only babies' kissies work!" She said raising an imaginary collar. "You feel good nah, Ishima?" Ruhi blinked her eyes cutely at her.

"Of course, baby. Ishima is fit and fine. My baby's kissie has magic!" She rolled her eyes showing amusement.

"Sachchi Ishima!" Ruhi asked curious to know if it really worked.

"Muchchi-muchchi!" She rubbed her nose on Ruhi's and turned to her to take her in her embrace.

She was enduring unbearable pain. It was as if she is slowly losing her life but she knows someone is there to secure her in whose arms she eas cocooned. His free hand circled her stomach, stroked her gently, and kissed her ear when she held Ruhi close to her heart.

"Feeling better?"

She leaned back on him while silent tears trickled down her closed eyes. Wiping them off, he brushed his lips over her cheek making her smile meekly. Her head moved closer to his chest as he huddled the girl who is in pain and the other one came in on her own.

"Please don't cry, jaan. I can't handle it..." He confessed honestly making her take a deep breath before letting her hand that was above Ruhi to hold his cheek in an odd position.

"I'm alright, baby." She tried to sooth him by patting his cheek without looking back at him.

"I don't feel so." He sulked. "I'll be just back." He went out making her lie comfortably.

After few minutes, he came inside with a hot water bag seeing which she placed Ruhi in the bed from above her where the little girl has slept off. He scolded her for making Ruhi lie on her but she just replied in a mere snigger pulling his pouted lower lip. His glare, his scolds, his pout, everything that she used to hate and get furious is the things that she enjoys the most these days. In everything, she could see...feel...and relish only Love...!

Making her lie on her back, he gently and carefully nursed her with the hot water bag while she adjusted to the warmness that overpowered her pain under his patient and easing ministration. It was then when he has turned to go that he noticed her swollen feet. Keeping aside the bag, he sat near her feet and kept them on his lap.
