Chapter Four
I awoke suddenly to the loud sound of metal banging upon metal. My eyes burst open into still darkness. I shot out of my bed upright searching around for the source of the horrible sound. My eyes instantly landed on Ethan. His body cast in shadow from the light in the hallway.
Evil asshole.
Something told me this was my wakeup call. I grabbed my covers and put them back over my head and got deep inside them.
"Go away!" I yell.
"Get up" he says banging the pots some more, the sound piercing my skull.
"Bug off!" I moan, covering my head with my hands.
"GET UP!" he shouts at me, the banging stops suddenly.
"No way! what time is it you evil spawn!?!" I shout back. "This is no way to treat a guest." I mumbles into the mattress of my bed, hoping that the devil will take a hint and bug off.
I pull the blanket up and peak there is no sign of him. I put my head on my pillow and close my eyes. I could go back to sleep no problem.
I pull the blanket back up over my face and hope again that the silence is some kind of sign that he has taken the hint and gone away.
The sound of boots coming back into my room alerts me to the fact that he's back to harass me. Can't a girl get some sleep in this place?
"Get up, or ill be forced to dump water on you." He says loudly. His voice booming in the silence. He wouldn't dare.
"Forget it. What time is it? How could you dare wake a person when it's still night out. What the hell is wrong with you!?" I shout loudly from underneath my covers.
"It's four in the morning, this is when we get up. Get use to it because you'll be getting up with us. Now get up before I dump this water on you." He says, I huff in reply from under the covers.
I toss my blanket up over my head glaring at him. He wouldn't DARE!
Would he?
I glare daggers at him, from under here.
"I cannot believe you woke me up at four in the morning, that's ungodly." I moan, pulling the covers back over my head and burring myself deeply under my pillow.
"Get up, come on." He says pulling the bottom of the blanket I grab on and hold for my dear life!
"Never!" I shout breathlessly. Jez! He's strong.
"Ugh, your' annoying. Get up, or I'm leaving you. Then I have to tell my father that you refused to get up and made me late." He says in a huff of annoyance, pulling the blanket totally off me and dropping it to the floor.
"I hate you." I mumble.
"Get up, I don't care if you hate me, I have work to do." He replies, folding his arms.
He stands there with a smug smile, I sit up on the bed and glare at him.
"I'm up, if you don't get out of my room I can't get dressed." I say rolling my eyes and flipping him off.
"Hurry up." He says turning around and walking out of my bedroom shutting the door behind him.
I go to my carry-on suitcase and pull out a pair of dark wash cutoff blue jeans. They are pretty short, but I'm sure they will keep me cool in the hot Texas sun later.
I grab a t-shirt from my bag with "The Ramones" on it. It's a little old, black and a little cut up and falling apart, I put a tank top underneath after I had searched for underwear and a sports bra.
