The Sparrow

Chapter 13

RECAP: "What's the matter? Afraid of a little lightning?" Steve taunted. Loki glanced at me before looking to Steve.

"It's what follows that I'm not overly fond of." He says and I gasp. Thunder... That means- and before I can finish my thought, Loki is gone in a flash of red and silver.

AND NOW ONWARD:

"Thor." I whisper to myself and look out the windshield.

"Another Asgardian?" Natasha asks Steve. 

"Do you thinkthis ones friendly?" He questions. Tony walks over to the back hatch and opens it. 

"Doesn't matter," he starts. "if he takes or kills Loki the Tersseract is gone." He states. He stands waiting for the hatch to finish opening.

"Stark wait, we need a plan of attack." Steve tells him. 

"I have a plan. Attack." He flips his face mask down and fires off. I grin and watch him fly in the direction Thor headed. Steve grabs a parachute and starts too buckle it on. 

"Captain, you might want to sit this one out, these men are practically Gods." Natasha tells him, he finishes and looks up at her.

"There's only one God ma'am and I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that." He says and jumps. I laugh and look to Nat.

"He has a point." I tell her and she looks at me.

"Shh." Is all she says before turning the plane around. I laugh and sit forward. I feel my self falling and look down to see my legs falling through the seat. 

"What the.." Is all I have a chance to say before I completely fall through the plane. I land on top of a rock and my body returns to normal. I cough, choking on the dust floating around and stand to dust myself off.

"Extraordinary." A voice says and in a flash my gun is out and aimed in between Loki's eyes.

"Why are you here, where's Thor?" I ask and a blue blast fires through trees in the distance. Loki puts his hands up in surrender.

"There, with your metal man and the Captain." He tells me. I keep the gun aimed on him and look around. 

"Sparrow, are you okay?" Natasha speaks into my ear piece.

"I'm fine. Just a bit scruffed up." I tell her and hear her sigh in relief.

"What happened?! Do you realize that if you would've gotten hurt or worse your brother would kill me right?" She scolds me. I roll my eyes and Loki chuckles. I move the gun just a few inches past his head and fire before it returns aimed. That shuts him up. 

"I think it's a addition to my new powers. I de-materialized and passed through the plane. I seriously need to talk to Bruce about all this." I tell her. She chuckles and I hear her say something but I don't think its to me. 

"Okay Sparrow, we have Tony, Steve, and Thor with us and we're on our way to get you and Loki. You copy?" She tells me. I have a mini-mental freak out. Thor Thor Thor Thor Thor, okay I'm good.

"I copy, I have Loki here." I say and I look back to Loki.

"I see my serum is improving your skills." He says, I growl at him and keep the gun aimed on him. 

"Shut your face." Is all I can think to say. He chuckles.

"You could be my queen you know. We could rule this miserable realm together. Side by side." He temps my. I looked into his green eyes, lowering my gun slightly.

"Queen?" I ask in confusion. He smiles and dares to walk closer. 

"My queen." He states and places a hand on top of the gun, lowering it more. 

"And we could rule?" I question like a child. He chuckles and steps closer. He tilts my head up wit his finger so I'm looking up at him as he's looking down at me. 

"Forever." He starts to lean in and I stomp on his foot and push him square in the shoulders, knocking him to the ground. I point the gun at his face and sigh.

"Poor poor, miserable Loki. This Midgardian can think for herself and doesn't fall for the bad guy." I say shaking my head with a smile. He looks down and I think I hear him sniffle but I'm not sure.

"I gave you power, I gave you a life. Why weren't you excepted into your silly little group before my works? Hmm? Why all of a sudden are you wanted? I made your dream come true, you owe me your life, and I'll get it." He snarls at me. I process his words and convince myself its not true.

"Come on little bird, you know I'm right." He taunts, I shake my head at him.

"You're wrong." At that moment the plane lands behind me and Tony and Steve climb out.

"Are you okay?"

What happened?" 

"Why is Loki on the ground?"

"I kicked Thor's ass."

"No you didn't he was going to kill you if I hadn't have stepped in."

"I had him right where I wanted him!" 

"Guys! stop it. I'm fine, okay? Can we go now?" I stopped their bickering. They both flushed red and picked Loki up off of the ground. Thor stepped out of the plane and walked over to me. 

"Hello, I am Thor  of Asgard, and who might you be?" He introduced himself. 

"I'm Emma of Midgardm and may I say it's a real pleasure to meet you sir." I tell him. 

"And for I as well." he says and I try not to squeal.

"Sparrow, Thor! Come on we're going!!" Tony calls out. Thor and I walk to the plane and I return to my place up front.

"You okay?" Natasha asks me.

"I just met Thor." I say awestruck before sitting straight forward and sighing.
