Chapter 25

I saw the tip of Stark Tower and a dark hole was opened up in the sky above it. Thin, lanky, and tall aliens poured out of the hole at a fast pace. I could see Tony flying around in his suit and attacking the aliens. A large pack of them on hover vehicles were approaching him from behind. I sped forward and pulled Tony's whip from my belt. I snapped it forward, it wrapping around the neck of the front alien, and spinning him to crash into the others behind him. Tony turned and noticed me, his masked flipped up so I could see his face, and he smiled at me.

"Hey kiddo! Took you long enough!" He teased, pulling an earpiece off of his ear and handing it to me. I placed my whip back on my belt and took the earpiece from his hand. I placed it in my ear and could hear Clint, Natasha, and Steve all talking about battle strategy. They were all still in the plane from how it sounded, and none of them knew I was here. A blur of black stopped before me and hit me in the face before taking off. I held my bruising jawline and looked to Tony.

"What the hell was that?" I asked him, watching the blur speed past the aliens and.. ride up the side of Stark Tower?

"I think it was a girl..." He trailed off and his mask flipped back down. "I'm going to go see if i can take more of these bastards out. Go and check out that blur, we need to know what it is. Okay?" Tony finished and I nodded. He took off and I headed to Stark Tower. As I approached I could see Loki stationed on Tony's balcony with the girl next to him. I landed not so gracefully behind them and pulled out my gun.

"Oh Raven, my naughty little bird, did you have to hit her?" Loki says while sliding an arm around her waist and pulling her closer. My heart cracks at the flirty tone he uses, the same tone he would use on me. She giggles and leans into him.

"How else would she know to stay away from my Master?" She asks in a seducing tone and presses a  kiss to his cheek. My heart shatters right there as he turns his head and kisses her roughly. I jump and as soon as my feet hit the ground again I shoot off. I land on the roof and stumble before crashing to the ground. I press a finger to my ear piece.

"Tony." I mutter and clutch my chest. My body feels like its being eaten by fire and my lungs are filled with water. I writhe in pain as hot tears roll down the side of my face. I press my ear piece again.

"Tony!!" I screech and begin to sob while curling up into a ball. I start to hear everyone in my ear piece and the voices make my head hurt worse. 

"Stark that had better not be Emma."

"Emma? Where are you? Are you alright?"

"Stark! Is that Emma? Where is she?"

"Em! I'm coming just hold on!"

I cried harder and stretched out, trying to make the pain go away. Tony landed beside me and grabbed my face before looking me over. 

"Em, Emma calm down I'm here. Shit, Bruce said this could happen." He mumbled. 

"Whats happening to me?" I grunted out and Tony frowned. 

"You were hit by a shock of emotions and now you're powers are trying all to surface at the same time." He explains and I groan in pain again. 

"Am I going to die?' I stutter out and he wipes the tears from my eyes. 

"You're body can't handle all this pressure at once. Your body is going to explode." He says and his voice is unsteady and his eyes are starting to water.

"Stark we've got an incoming nuclear missile. Do you copy?" Fury's voice comes through my ear piece. 

"I can close the portal! Does anyone copy?" Natasha's voice follows. How long have we been here?

"Do it!" Steve shouts and i give a pained smile. 

"Do it!" Clint's voice follows after and I start to cry again. 

"I copy. Widow don't close it, We've got a nuke heading in and i know just where to put it." Tony says and he looks down at me. "Stay here." and shoots off. As soon as he's gone I stand slowly and slightly jump. Not a lot but enough to fire me off of the ground. I take off after Tony and get to the missile before him and direct it up through the portal before Tony can stop me. 

"I love all of you." I say into my ear piece as the portal closes and the nuke explodes. My body following after.

A/N: this is an intense one. I'm sorry i took so long to get it up. I couldn't stop crying, I've been a wreck lately. enjoy and please don't hate me for taking forever. I'll have the epilogue up after this.  QOTD: what was your favorite part?
