Chapter 12

As we flew into a city, Steve opened the back hatch. 

"Uh, Steve? What are you doing?" I asked. All he did was look back at me with a smirk and jump down. We were farely close to the ground and I was able to watch him land and take off running. 

"Um, Nat? Steve ran a way." I told her. She laughed at my confusion. 

"He's going to go distract Loki until we get there. See?" She pointed out the windshield. I followed her finger to see Loki pointing his spear at Steve who was in full on combat mode. 

"Loki drop the weapon." She spoke into her head-set. I felt my own head-set to see if it had a mic. When I realized I didn't get one, I sat back in my seat and made a pouty face at Natasha. She galnced over at me and gave a chuckle before swerving the plane away from one of Loki's blasts. As Loki and Cap began to fight 'Shoot To Thrill' by ACDC started to blare from the speakers. 

"Agent Romanoff, Agent Barton, did you miss me?" Tony's voice filled my ears. I laughed and watched him fly next to the plane and land in front of Loki with all his weapons out and aimed. 

"Make your move reindeer games." He said, making fun of Loki's Asgardian helmet. Loki's armor faded and he put his hands up in surrender. Natasha lower the plane to the ground and Tony and Steve brought Loki on in cuffs. I stood from my seat and Natasha looked at me.                 

"I'll be right back." I told her and set my head-set on the seat. I walked back and looked at Tony.

"Nice entrance you had there." I told him jokingly. He chuckled and flipped his mask up. 

"Thanks kid." He said and started to talk to Steve. I smiled to myself and looked over at Loki. He was looking at me with pain in his eyes, but that stupid smirk on his face. I walked up to him catching Steve and Tony's attention.

"Watch." I told Loki. I raised my hand and heated it enough to glow red. He looked at it and up at me, still smirking. That put me on edge and I slapped him with the heated hand, leaving a bright red hand print on the side of his face. 

"Emma woah!" Tony jumped and pulled me away from Loki. He looked up at me and I could see his eyes glistening with tears, threatening to fall. He blinked a few times before keeping his head down. I returnd to my seat and took a deep breath, cooling my hand off. I stared into space thinking about Loki's green eyes and Steve's blue ones when lightning and thunder came out of no where.  Something landed on top of the plane and Loki jumped.

"What's the matter? Afraid of a little lightning?" Steve taunted. Loki glanced at me before looking to Steve.

"It's what follows that I'm not overly fond of." He says and I gasp. Thunder... That means- and before I can finish my thought, Loki is gone in a flash of red and silver.
