"We're running out of time Benzino. And Twain's memory is hard to control. He's starting to remember little details and things-"

"Just do your fucking job and don't worry about mine," he growled. I slammed my hand down on the table in frustration.

"Then you do your job Benzino! I'm trying to convince him that he's your successor. But how can I do that if you won't even speak to him? He's starting to question things. What am I supposed to tell him?"

"A lie Monae. Lie. You're not terrible at it. Besides I need to make sure Sasha is secure and in the safe zone before I can move on to him," he scoffed as he leaned back in his chair.

"We've got bigger problems then you wanting to take your good old time! Kyrie is still missing. Twain's memory is a little less foggy, production and distribution is low. Pretty soon the Wilson's are going to find us. And when they do, they'll slaughter us all. If we're going to get T to commit fully, I need you to-" suddenly the door burst open and on the other side stood a fuming Twain. Fuck.

"What the fuck is going on here?"

Kehlani "Delicious" Jackson
"Two positive, one negative." I stared down at the plus sign in astonishment. I was pregnant. I'm carrying Twain's child. And he wasn't here to see it.

Blue sighed but nevertheless, he picked me up and spun me around in a circle.

"Blue what're you doing?"

"Congratulations Lani! You're officially going to be a mother!" He exclaimed. He set me down on the floor and stared at me. "Lani?" He said worriedly. I was silent. "You're worried about Twain?" He said softly. I sat down on the plush bed where we once were and sighed.

"Who knows what his ex has been filling his head with. He probably despises me. Hell for all I know, he probably doesn't even know my name," I said barely above a whisper. A single tear slipped from my eye but I wiped it away quickly.

"Kehlani, if you and him are really meant to be together, you will be. Love that strong can't be broken. No matter how hard you try. Okay?" He smiled. I took a few breaths and nodded. "Okay good. Now who else knows about this?"

"Just X. But he doesn't know it's been confirmed. And we're not going to tell him," I put sternly.

"Kehlani we have to tell him-"

"No! Then he'll take me off the mission. I can't stop now Blue. Please," I begged.

"Kehlani, we are not risking this and I'm not arguing about this with you. Either you tell him, or I will. And he might just kill me because he'll think I'm the father," he folded his arms across his chest.

"... Fine. I'll tell him," I mumbled. He nodded in satisfactory and pulled me up. "What're you doing?"

"Enough moping around its time to celebrate!"

I walked inside the house and kicked my shoes off. Tatiyana came around the corner along with Duke running beside her. While I've been busy taking care of business, the girls have been watching him for me. It's hard not seeing him all the time like I was used to. He's gotten so big.

He jumped on my legs and I smiled. I gave his head a good scratch and looked up to Tati. She had her hair tied up with grey sweats and a matching sweatshirt. "Hey," she smiled.

"Hey. Thanks for taking care of him for me. I've been so busy lately-"

"D it ain't nothin. But wassup? You look... I don't know. Not like yourself. You good?" She raised an eyebrow. I bit my lip and contemplated telling her. "Do I need to get Yandi over here?"
