Kehlani "Queen" Jackson
After talking to Capo for a while I ended up staying for dinner. And I could already tell just from our chat that things would get better.

I looked around the airport for Blue when I spotted him standing with a sign that said, "mother of my nephew." I shook my head and laughed as I walked towards him. When he saw me, he ran to meet me half way and lifted me up into the air. "Lani!" He yelled joyfully.

"Hey Blue," I smiled. He set me back down and we walked to go get my luggage. "How's my baby?" I asked as we waited for it to come around on the conveyer belt.

"He did really good. How's my nephew?" He smiled.

"Why does everyone think it's a boy?" I laughed. "I want a girl."

"Well you aren't getting one. Twain's family is all men right?"

"Yeah but-"

"Then a boy it is," he joked as we spotted my bag and he grabbed it for me. We made our way outside, just talking about my week as well as his.

He pulled up in front of the doctors office and my breathing hitched in my throat. Blue grabbed my hand and squeezed. "It's gonna be okay Kehlani."

"Blue I-" suddenly, X came sprinting to our car, motioning to roll down the window. "X what's going on-"

"There's something going down with Benzino. I can get you a window so you can talk to Twain. But we gotta go now," he rushed out. All the oxygen left from my lungs as he said his name. Without question I jumped out of the car and moved as quickly as I could to X's. I turned to Blue apologetically but he motioned for me to go. X and I both hopped in the car and sped off without hesitation. "X, what happened?"

"Zayana's in the hospital. She got into an "accident". Shark was around scoping the area when it happened. He followed them to the hospital and everyone is there. Twain included. I can get you in there but you have to be out before anyone sees you. Or they'll kill you Kehlani. Do you understand?" He said strictly.

"Yes but what do I even say? And what do you mean by 'accident?' Did you-"

"Just see what he remembers. You only have a five minute window. Our guys are already in there getting set up for you. Here it is!" He yelled as he pulled up to the curb. I jumped out and began running towards the entrance. Adrenaline flooded my body as I noticed some of our guys walking around in scrubs posing as faculty. I saw Shark who was approaching me swiftly. He pulled me in close and whispered in my ear instructions.

"Zayana is on floor four. You have two minutes to get up there. Once you're there, Marcos with tell you where to go and what to do. Go."

I walked as fast as I could to the stairs and took off. The Marcos character met me at the top of the stairs. He must be part of Santiago's team. "Hello Queen. Once you walk down this hallway, you will make a turn around the wall. King will be waiting at the vending machine for a water bottle. Grab him and pull him into the first room on the left. It's been made empty for you. You have thirty seconds. Go now!"

I could feel my legs carrying me down that hallway and around the bend. When I saw a man in a grey hoodie, I yanked as hard as I could to pull him through the door into the room. He stumbled but somehow, I managed to get him inside.

I took a look at his face. He was growing a beard. His hair was longer now that it wasn't being cut regularly. And the moment his eyes met mine, time stopped and the world exploded around us.

"Twain," I whispered as tears fell from my eyes. My initial response was to reach out and touch him. And before I knew it, he had me pinned against the wall. But not for a reason I was used to.
