You must question this right? Like wtf is she going to tell us now. Well first off don't question anything since these are me and my friends that we are talking about and second what I'm about to tell you is pure weird but a funny memory. Also this is going to be pretty short so please stick around to read it.
It all began at our after-school program Unitas. A wonderful community of boys and girls. Some men and women. Some Older men and some Older Women. Who we each like to this week play together like we just did and talk together like we are about to do. People like to ask us what do you guys like to do in that great big TRIBE. Rules are everyone Pays attention, no talking when another person speaks, and please put all your distractions away. (That really is what they say. No misspells or anything.) Sounds boring when I put it like that I know but that is what they actually say when they begin what is called circle time which is when you get in a circle and talk. Also if you are wondering how I remembered that boring speech well...I kind have been hearing that same speech every Thursday since 3rd grade. Anyways I'm getting off track here. So we go to this place called the plaza which is right across my school in front of the church and library. My friends and I always hang out at the railing near the Library. We used to hang out there so much that Brad started calling it the Bat Cave. Anywho one day when we were at the plaza we saw a squirrel and it was at the garden so we didn't get to do anything with the squirrel. Oh, you want to know what we were going to do with the squirrel. Well, we were going to chase it seeing if we could catch it. Then it came back again this time we were all at the Bat Cave. Chad yelled squirrel and we chased after that thing as if we were dogs from the movie UP. Everyone including me jumped off the railing and chased after a squirrel. Now imagine about 4-5 may be about 9-10-year-old kids chasing after a squirrel. I'm telling you though 1) we nearly had it until a Unitas caretaker told us to stop chasing the poor squirrel and 2) THEM SQUIRRELS ARE FUCKING FAST! Like geez, I don't understand how people can catch one of those creatures. For tiny bodies, chubby cheeks, and tiny feet they run fast. Anyways that's all.
