Field Day

Ok so explanation on field day if u don't know what field day is. Field day is one day at the end of the school year so normally in the month of June where you play nothing but competitive and sometimes bonding exercises/games. Now last year they changed it up because we joined a partnership. However I wasn't there last year because I broke my leg, long story. Anyways we now go to Randalls Island and we go against each other and other schools that are also apart of the partnership. Now let's get to when I'm in class.

June 13, 2016

I sit at my desk and put down my backpack and hang my lunch box on the side of my desk. I say hi to my friends Dawn, Aiden, Funo, and Finn who are in my group. As I'm talking with Dawn and Funo, Eddie and Brad come over to our group. I'm used to this by now because they always come over to talk to Aiden. Finn kind of stays more by himself keeping quiet sometimes drawing or writing (Hey Finn Deathkid748) Anyways I normally try to ignore them as much as I can. This time it was harder than normal and trust me it's hard to ignore them when they are always doing dumb stuff, especially when Brad is always hitting and annoying me. They were flexing there muscles and I'm just here like WHAT THE HELL GUYS! See, it is weird to see 2 guys that you have know for 7 years do this. I kind of expected it from Aiden because he does it on skype when he is with us. But this time it was just plain weird when it's 3 of them at the same exact time. Like why just...why. It got even weirder when they are competing against each other about their muscles and asking you who had better muscle structure. Plus they were literally exactly right next to me. I was so freaking happy when Ms. Pineda said we had to go to the bus.

We get on the bus. I'm sitting next to Katelyn, directly across from me is Jane and Mia, Niki is diagonally across from me, and Dawn and Michelle are behind me. During the bus ride, Katelyn had failed on turning to look back. Now you might be wondering how the heck do u fail at turning to look behind you? If you have your seat belt lose and you are on a bus through New York roads, it's possible. So this is what happened. Mia and Jane had spotted something. I have no clue what it was cause I didn't get a glimpse at it. Now while Katelyn was turning to look at the window to see what Mia and Jane were seeing the bus had hit a bump in the road. This caused her to smack her face against the leather seat. It was soooooo funny to me cause I didn't see when her face smacked against the leather seat no, all I heard was "OWWWW MY GLASSES." So we all started dying of laughter. Later on, Jane started staring at the back of the bus where Brad, Eddie, and Aiden were sitting. "Did you find yourself some eye candy." "NO!" In my mind: Hehehehehe....sure you didn't....

We arrived at Randall's Island. We are the purple team. The games we played were capture the flag, the floor is lava, relay race, some sponge game, and tic-tac-toe. But let me not get ahead of myself. So we are sitting on the grass waiting for the activities to start. Now the grass is the most ultimate fake grass you can possibly find. Once you sat on the grass it would stick to your clothes and shoes. That included the rocks sticking to you too. So Jane and I were crouching for a bit and standing up. When we were crouching we were in the spiderman position or in this case spidergirl position. We gave up on crouching eventually cause it was hurting our legs. That pose had reminded us of when on the last day of Zumba we were having a battle and in order for you to get up on cue with your team, you had to be in the spiderman position.

When the activities started our first game was the floor is lava. Basically what you have to do is place down jump ropes and hula hoops so you can get across the whole way without touching the ground and your whole team must make it across. You place the hula hoops down and four people can be in there. You place the jump ropes in a straight line and walk across them. My team had won that game. I forgot to mention that we were working with some of the students from another school cause they split us into two teams. My team I think was team 1. I might be wrong but who cares. Next game was a relay race with a twist. You had to put on these basketball shorts and white tee-shirt, run to the line and back to your teammates, finally taking off the clothes and give them to the next person. Then it just keeps going. My team also won that challenge. The third game was what I like to call soak the sponge. You have to soak a sponge, pass it back, squeeze out the water into a bucket, pass it forward and it starts all over again. Eventually, instead of passing it back people started squeezing the water over themselves causing us to lose and people started throwing the sponges towards the back. The sponges were flying everywhere. IT'S RAINING SPONGES OUT IN THE STREET. SPONGES NO NEED TO ASK WHY. Okay... so the wind actually did make like two sponges fly in the air. Those sponges were just like "WE OUT! BYE GUYS!" (I'm officially insane) The other team had one that one.

Okay, I'm about to trash Sacred Heart school. So if your from Sacred Heart I'm sorry but its how meh and my friends think of the School.

    The 4th game aka the game we had to play against Sacred Heart aka The ultimate cheating school that has ever existed. I mean we had a chess tournament against them and the staff was rude and the kids either didn't know how to play or they cheated. I honestly don't know why we even had a chess tournament if that was going to happen. They get on my nerves. Also, there was a math tournament and they bullied my friend Kanako. Jane got so mad at that so she cursed at them. Ms. Madio heard but she allowed it for that one occasion. So we all were furious at the end of round 1. We complained to both the coach and our teacher. During one of the games, we called them all out. This is what happens if you cheat in a game against my class. We WILL call you out. We called them out cause the coach said they got a point when Michelle clearly tagged the dude. Plus every time people got tagged they would never go into the jail. Unlike our class when Eddie went into the jail cause he got tagged. The coach decided we would rock, paper, scissors for the 2 points. Michelle VS One of the Sacred Hearts Kids! Round 1! FIGHT! Michelle wins because she won best 2 out of 3! VICTORY! AND THE CROWD GOES WILD! Happy Dances all around! Cheers from all her classmates!  WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Okay, I'm done now.

    The last game was tic-tac-toe with bean bags and hula hoops. The way it worked was that you had to race and get the bean bag in the hoop. Make sure you get the bean bag in the hula hoop before the other team or else you have to choose a different placement. Oh, and if you mess up the hula hoops you have to fix them than run back to your team. The team that lost that round has to send one of their teammates to get all the bean bags so that you can start the next round. Sometimes we didn't even notice when you could get three in a row. The other half of the class one that one. In the end each side of the class both one 2 games not counting capture the flag of course. We then had a bathroom break and it was actually both really fun and really disgusting. The bathroom was somehow worst than a porta potty. However, Mr. P came over to refill one of the sports water coolers. He connected a hose to the water pipes or whatever its called. This meant we get to get refills for our bottles and for fun he would spray us with the hose. Than Jacob just had to be his dirty-minded self and said hoes water. Mr. P was like what did you say? Jacob gave the best response though. His response was that hoes water is a game that he plays on his computer. The reason he said it was a game is that people make anything out of a game so if you say its a game you can kind of play it off. #Thatsavetho 

    We left the bathroom to go have lunch finally. When we had lunch we all thought what would happen if the bridge above us fell. Jacob and I agreed that we would book it all the way to where the blue tent was. Katelyn disagreed and said we wouldn't make it in time. Mia said to just stay there since there were openings between the metal. I said the rubble would fall on you though. Then as we are eating there were cars going over the bridge which made it sound like the wires and cables holding the bridge was snapping so we were frightened. We were happy when we left. Finn said that anyone could have his big bag of chips cause he didn't want any. He held them out for anyone to take. I snatched them from his hands and opened it. I did share with my friends though. Since Jane had Gatorade she ended up being drunk by the end when we were going back to the school. She was REALLY drunk. She couldn't even walk in a straight line drunk. It was hilarious though. On the bus Katelyn made me learn how to play numbers. At the end of the bus ride, she tried to strangle me, literally. So we all went upstairs got our phones and the people that leave on their own or people whose parents were already there left. Katelyn, Funo, Jane, and I all sat together in the classroom since we had to wait for our parents. Funo was getting mad cause she couldn't drink any juice since it was frozen. She had two frozen juices by the way. So I took both of them and started banging them against each other. Katelyn and I made it really fun though. We made it into a lightsaber battle. It worked cause Funo was able to drink juice after our lightsaber battle. Our hands were freezing but we didn't care. Soon I had to go but before I left we had 1 last lightsaber battle. 

That's all sorry this was late but I am working on a secret little project book so it completely slipped my mind. Anyways TADA. Question: Should I post the last day of school or not? I leave that decision to you guys. PEACE! PINKLADY OUT! ~Pinkladyxox <3
