Chapter 27

2 months later **

- KIRA POV -

" Khalil baby where you at!! " I yelled walking into the house.

" I'm in the kitchen. '' he answered.

I walked to the kitchen to see this nigga rolling up a blunt like I'm not 2 months pregnant. '' Khalil. " I said.

'' What? Baby I'm not gone smoke this in the house so don't start tripping. " he said.

" Whatever. I'm going to take a nap. '' I said putting my keys on the kitchen counter.

" Aight and well I got to work tonight." He said.

I rolled my eyes and kept walking. See Khalil promised me last year that he'd stop running around in the streets and get a real job. He said he wants to be a rapper and I don't see why he can't quit doing what he's doing and start rapping with Issa. I mean I literally stay up half of the night worrying about wether Khalil will come home or not. I don't want my child to be without both its parents but with the route that Khalil is taking I'm gone end up leaving him and I don't want to but he's not giving me a choice. I don't want to one day be sitting here at home waiting for Khalil cause I think he's on his way home but I find out that he's been killed.

" Kira did you hear me? " Khalil asked me.

" Yeah I heard you. '' I said walking upstairs.

He was right behind me but before I sat on the bed he pulled me to him and hugged me then said '' Don't be like that baby I promise I'm gone quit soon. "

" When Khalil? When? You've already been shot twice and the first time you almost didn't make it. Khalil that should've been a wake up call for you. I just want you home safe where you belong. " I said.

" Just give me two more weeks and I promise I'm done. Ill see if maybe I can start working with Issa and Que and we'll go from there. " he said.

" You promise. " I said wrapping my arms around his neck.

" I promise. You have my word. Just two more weeks and I'm done. " he said.

" I'm not playing Khalil. Two more weeks and that's it if you're still in the streets I'm gone have to leave you. " I said.

" No baby you ain't got to leave. " he said looking at me with hurt in his eyes.

" Well then you got to quit. " I said sternly.

" I am I promise. " he said.

" Okay. " I said looking him in his eyes to see if he was telling the truth or not and to my surprise he was.

" I Love You. " he said.

" I Love You Too. " I said kissing him softly.

He pulled back then started playing with my stomach. '' Hey son. " he said.

" Un-Uh we having a girl. " I argued.

" No we not. We having a son so I can teach him to be fresh with the ladies and I can teach him to rap. " He said making me laugh.

" No we having a girl so I can do her hair and buy her all the freshest clothes out and I can teach her to be smart. " I said.

" We having a boy. '' he said.

" Nope Girl. "

He then grabbed my hands and gently pushed me on the bed and got on top of me and said " We having a boy. "

" Says who. '' I challenged.

" Says me. " he whispered in my ear then he bit my ear lobe.

" Boy stop before you give us twins. " I laughed pushing him off me.

" You lucky I got to get ready. " he said getting up.

After he got ready he kissed me on my lips and said he'd be back and then left. I was about to go to sleep until I got a phone call from Kionna.

" Speak. " I answered.

" Hey Kira I was wondering if you wanted to come over and me, you and Leah could have a girls night. " Kionna spoke.

" Yeah sure. You not with Que? " I asked.

" No him and Issa and the crew went to Chicago for the ATK 2 this week. " she said.

" Oh well yeah sure I'll be over in 30 minutes. " I said.

" Okay and another thing you do you want Chinese food or Pizza? " she asked.

" Uh Pizza. " I said.

" Alright Pizza it is. See you soon. " Kionna said hanging up.

I got out of bed and put on some pants and a FYB shirt and left.

I knocked on Kionna's door and she opened it and I walked in and saw Leah and some other girl.

" Desiree? " I said.

" Well don't just stand there. Girl give me a hug. " she said standing up.

I didn't really get to know Desiree well before she moved so that's why I'm like hey and not Omg girl how you been and all of that stuff.

" Well I see Leah and Kionna did a good job changing your image. " she said.

" Yeah they did a wonderful job. " I said.

" So Desiree what caused you to come back to Atlanta? " Leah asked her.

" Well Atlanta is my home town and plus I missed being here. " she said.

" That's good so tell us did you find anybody? " Kionna said.

" Yeah actually I did his name is Mike." she said.

" Does he live here? " Kionna asked.

" Yeah I've actually been here for the last 6 months and I met him when I first got back. " she said.

" Wow does he have a daughter? " Kionna asked.

" Yeah but the momma won't let him see her cause of his past. " Desiree said.

" I know who you talking about. He goes to UWG. " Kionna said.

" How you know him? " Desiree asked,

" Long story but I yeah I know him. " Kionna said.

" Well what about you guys how's y'all relationships going? " Desiree asked.

" Well me and Issa are still together. " Leah said.

" Me and Que are still together and we are expecting. " Kionna said.

" Awe OMG how long are you?! " Desiree exclaimed.

" Two months. " Kionna smiled running her stomach.

" Awe and what about you Kira any special man in your life? " she asked me.

" Yeah Khalil and me and him are also expecting. " I answered.

When I said that she looked hurt but quickly changed her facial expression and said " That's good and how long are you? " she asked.

" Two months also. " I said.

" Well enough of all that let's have a girls night. I already ordered the pizza and I also ordered some Chinese food. " Kionna said.

" Don't nobody want Chinese food but you. " Leah said.

" Shut your ass up. " Kionna said.

I'm not gone lie I had a good time but I felt like Desiree was staring at me the whole time. All I know is if she got a problem she need to let me know now.

- JACQUEES POV -

" Nigga you stupid. " I said laughing at Durante.

" Man look at her though. Girl got on a white shirt with some black tights then she got the nerve to be wearing some hello kitty light up shoes and got colorful weave in her hair. " Durante said.

" Bruh hush before she hear you. " Issa laughed.

" Ion give a fuck I'll speak louder. " he said speaking louder.

We was in Chicago at Harold's cause we was hungry as hell. I was waiting on my food when a pretty brown skin girl walked up to me. She was my height and had brown eyes and had long hair that came to the middle of her back. " Hey can I get a picture with you? I'm a big fan of FYB. " she blushed.

" Sure no problem ma. " I said.

" Aye E take me and shawty picture real quick. " I told Issa.

" Aight. " he said.

She handed Issa her phone and he took like 3 pictures of us and then she turned to me and said " You gone make it big in life. You gone be the next big thing out just be patient. ''

When she said that it made me smile cause I knew she was right. " Thanks...."

" Ni'Asia. My name is Ni'Asia but you can call me Asia. " she said smiling.

" Well ThankYou Asia. " I said.

" Also I love you and your girlfriend Kionna together. Is she with you? " she asked.

" No she stayed behind. " I said.

" Oh dang I wanted to see KeKe. " she said.

When she said KeKe I wanted to know how she knew her nickname cause only people who knew her nickname was the people that she was close with.

" How you know her nickname? " I asked.

" Cause she was my best friend back in NewYork till her mom and dad got that promotion and then Leah moved with her so that left me by myself. " she said.

" Oh well if you like I could reunite y'all or something. " I said.

" No I couldn't ask that of you. " she said.

" No really it's not a big deal. " I said.

" Aye Que your food ready. " Issa said,

" Aight grab it for me? " I asked.

" Yeah I got it. " he said.

" Thanks. " I said to him.

" Well I better get going my boyfriend is probably waiting on me. " she said.

" Okay that's cool but for real though I can reunite y'all if you'd like. " I said.

" You know what here's my number and you can call me and we can finish the conversation. " she said taking a pen out and writing her number on my hand.

" Okay I gotchu. " I said.

" See you later. " she said waving and walking out.

" Bruh you better be glad Kionna ain't here cause she would've flipped on your ass. " Durante said.

" Man shut up Kionna wouldn't did shit but be like so you talking to other bitches now then she would've dropped it so shut that shit up and on top of that the girl I was just talking to is Kionna's old friend from NewYork. " I said being serious cause that's how Kionna is.

" What well she was looking good as hell and that that ass doe. " Durante said making me laugh.

" You a fool bruh what's going on with you today. " I laughed.

" I don't even know man I'm just in the mood today. " he said.

" I see that. Aye there go rainbow. " I said pointing to the girl he was talking about earlier.

" Aye shawty what that ass do doe!! " he shouted to her.

" Durante boy she gone slap your ass. " I said laughing so damn hard.

" She ain't gone do shit but ride this dick. " he said humping the air.

" What did I just walk into? " Issa said walking up to us.

" This nigga being retarded. " I said pouting to Durante.

" Man come on y'all we got like 4 hours before we got sound check and I'm hungry as hell. " Issa said.

" Yo skinny ass stay hungry. " Durante blurted.

" Nigga fuck you. " Issa said mugging him.

After that we went back to the hotel and everybody ate in my room then we went to sound check and after that we did the damn thing and rocked the stage.

- KIONNA POV -

After that little sleepover Kira stayed cause she wanted to ask me some questions and then we was gone go shopping today for the babies. Even though we only two months it ain't never too early to start shipping for baby clothes.

" So Kionna how often does Que go on tours and stuff? " Kira asked me looking at some baby clothes.

" Well it all depends but since I'm pregnant he's not going to be able to go out and do tours as much well I hope he doesn't but then again I can't stop him from doing what he does. " I said sighing.

" Sounds like you and Que having problems. " she said.

" Yeah I guess you can say that but I'm not really worried about our problems I'm worried about me and this baby. '' I said.

" I know that's right. Me and you in the same boat cause me and Khalil having problems also. " she said.

" I don't know I mean its like he loves me but at the same time he doesn't. If we not fighting we having sex and if we ain't having sex we fighting and I hate that. I know he said give him so time and he'll come around but I'm starting to lose faith in him and I don't want to do that cause I love him to much. " I said.

" I know how you feel cause every night Khalil has his ass in the streets and I feel like he don't care no more either. " Kira said.

" I just don't know no more so I try not to think about it but he's making it hard for me I just feel like he'd rather go out with the guys and hang with them rather than be in a relationship with me now don't get me wrong I don't mind him going out with his friends but damn at least pay a little bit of attention to me other then when he wants sex. I don't care about him going out I don't its just I'm so lost right now I just don't know what to do." I cried.

" It's okay Kionna you know he loves you. " Kira said rubbing my back.

" It don't feel like it. " I said.

" Kionna he does you know he does like he said just give him time. That boy loves you and you can tell just by looking at him. " Kira said.

I wiped my tears and said " ThankYou and do you have any other questions? "

" Actually yeah do you think Issa and Que would help Khalil with his career? " she asked.

" Probably so I don't know. " I said.

" Oh okay and one last thing how does it feel when he leaves for a show or a tour? " she questioned.

" Well Que always asks me do I want to go but I tell him no cause I don't want to interfere with anything that he does and sometimes it gets a little lonely and sometimes I worry if he's gone cheat or not. See people think that life is wonderful when you dating a star but it ain't always like that. '' I answered.

" Wow. I didn't know. " Kira said amazed.

" Yeah well that's how it is but Khalil isn't Que so I don't know. " I said looking at some clothes.

Instead of us shopping for the babies we decided to shop for ourselves and our men. After that we ate and went our separate ways.
