So I'm aware that my friend Angel wrote Chapter 17 and I have to say it was good but I'm still mad that she took my phone while I was sleeping like nigga really •_• . She could have went to sleep with me. Lol gots to love her though but back to the book.

- Kionna POV -

Me and Kira sung Keyshia Cole and Monica Trust while getting ready for school.

So this month is me and Que's birthday and I'm so happy and also we will graduate next month. I'm still staying with Kira. The only person who doesn't know where I am is my dad but I mean he did kick me out didn't he so why the hell should it matter to him where I'm at.

I had gotten a job and I had my own phone and my own car so I didn't have to rely on anybody for a while even though Que wanted to by me a car I told him no cause he had already done enough for me like he took me on this big ass shopping spree. " So what you want to do for your birthday? " Kira asked me.

" I don't care I just want to have fun. " I said flat ironing my hair.

" We should go to a club. " Kira suggested.

" Ehh I don't know. " I said.

" Oh come on you'll be 18 so you're allowed in a club. '' she said putting her hair in a bun.

" Okay but what about my sister and Kiyah? " I asked.

" Girl please they'll be able to get in to. Have you not seen them they look over 18. Hell they could probably get in without I.D. " Kira said making me laugh.

She wasn't lying though my sister and Kiyah really didn't look their age.

" Whatever girl you a fool. I'm about to go. Do you need a ride to school? " I asked her.

" Naw I'm good Khalil said he got me and plus he say he wanted to talk to me. " Kira said.

" Oh aight well I'll see you later. " I said giving her dap.

" Okay see you later. " she said.

I got in my car and blasted Keyshia Cole the whole ride. I guess you can say I'm a little fan of her. ( A/N: I love Keyshia Cole. She so pretty and got talent.)

Once I got to school I seen Issa and Leah all hugged up on Issa's car so I walked over to them. " Hey y'all " I said.

" Hey KeKe. " Leah said attacking me with a hug.

" Damn girl acting like you ain't seen me in some years or something. " I laughed.

" I'm just excited this morning. " she said.

" And why is that? " I asked.

" Cause look at what Issa got me. " she said showing me a sliver ring that had a red heart shaped diamond on it.

" Damn E you spoiling the hell out her." I said looking at her ring.

" She my girl of course I'm gone spoil her. " Issa said hugging her from behind.

" Awe y'all are so damn cute together. Well I'm gone go and leave y'all be. " I said hugging Leah.

I left and headed to my locker and I seen Ashley and Brittany talking to each other. " Hey Kionna. " Brittany said to me.

" Hey. " I said confused.

I walked to my locker and some dude was standing against my locker.

"Excuse me. " I said.

" Oh my bad ma this your locker? " he asked.

" Yeah it is. " I said.

" Oh what's your name? " He asked.

" Kionna. " I answered.

" Well Kionna if I may say you are beautiful. " he said.

" ThankYou. " I smiled.

I grabbed my books out my locker and went to Social Studies and Que was already there. I took my seat in front of him and he started playing my hair.

" Boy get your fingers out my hair. " I said turning around.

He grabbed my hand and made me sit on his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered " I don't like you wearing these tights. " in my ear.

" And why not? " I asked.

" Cause I don't want other niggas looking at an ass that is mine. " he said rubbing my leg.

By this time the class started coming in cause the bell was getting ready to ring but the teacher still wasn't in yet.

" Why you worried about them other niggas bae? You know I love you and you only. " I said holding his hands.

" You better. " he said in such a sexy voice that I couldn't help but blush.

Que kissed me on my cheek and that's when the teacher walked in.

" Mr. Broadnax and Ms. Robison I understand that you two are a couple but could you stop the PDA please. Kionna find your seat and its not Jacquees's lap. '' Ms. Kirkland said.

" Ole lonely ass bitch. " I said a little to loud cause some of the class heard me and they laughed.

Que poked me in my back and said " You crazy you know that right. ''

" So I've been told. " I said winking at him and then turning around.

I was in line for lunch when Leah pulled me to the side. " Kionna come on. " she said out of breath.

" Why what's wrong? " I asked.

" Que fighting come on. '' she said pulling me.

She pulled me outside and sure enough Que and some other dude was fighting. But why?

- JACQUEES POV -

" Aye Que where the girls at? " Khalil asked me.

" I think Kionna at lunch, and Leah and Kira went to the bathroom. " I said.

" Oh okay then cool. " he said.

Me and him started talking more until some dude walked up to me.

" Can I help you like you all up in my personal space damn. " I said.

" So I hear you the one that's been taking care of a baby that's mine. " he said.

When he said that I thought about Ashley cause she just had the baby last Thursday and I guess it slipped my mind to get a DNA test.

" What you mean? " I asked.

" You know exactly what I'm talking about. I don't like that fact that you taking care of my child. " he said.

" Man she told me that was my baby and I told her when the baby is born Ill get a DNA test but it slipped my mind so you can get out my face with that bull. " I said drinking my soda.

Y'all let me tell you this nigga had balls cause when I was drinking my soda he made me waste it on myself.

" Oh you son of a bitch. " I said getting up.

I seen Leah and Kira walk outside from the corner of my eye and I wasn't gone fight the dude cause I didn't need to get into anymore trouble especially when graduation is next month but the dude fucking pushed me and I fell to the ground cause his ass caught me off guard. Okay he wanna do it like that then let's play nigga. I got up and pushed the dude back and he swung hitting me in my jaw. Now realize this nigga is like 6'1 and y'all know I'm 5'4 so a nigga is short but I wasn't going down without out a fight. I spit and when I did blood came out my mouth and that's when I seen Leah run back into the school and I'm guessing to go get Kionna.

He swung again but I ducked and I swung my leg tripping his ass but I caught him and when I did I was straight sending blows to the nigga face. No lie this dude was strong as hell but since I'm short my cousin Ello always taught me a few moves when it comes to fighting people taller than me. Me and ole dude was just steady fighting till I heard Kionna yell break it up.

" No keep going. " some random ass dude said.

" Dontavious shut yo stupid ass up. " Kionna yelled.

" Man hell naw this is the fight of the year. " he said.

" Issa break them up. " Kionna and Leah said in unison.

" Hell naw cause I swear if I get hit its gone be 2 on 1. " Issa stupid ass said.

" Issa. " Kionna whined.

" Man no. "Issa said.

" Punk ass nigga. " Kionna said.

I then felt somebody wrap their hands around me and tried to pull me off of the dude but I wasn't having that cause dude came at me sideways then he fighting me over Ashley hoe ass. I swear on my momma head I regret even talking to that bitch Freshman year.

" Que get off him please. " Kionna said tugging at my shirt.

After two more punches I got up off the dude and my jaw was killing me along with my hand. I'm glad there wasn't any teachers around but knowing some people at this school this fight would've got back to the principal by the end of the school day.

" Que baby what happened? Why you fighting? " Kionna asked trying to touch me.

I grabbed her hands with my good hand told her to move and I wished I hadn't of done that cause my jaw started hurting even worser.

" Que. " she said.

I pushed her and she stumbled back into Leah causing Leah to fall back and Leah took Kionna with her so they both fell.

I would've helped them up but I was in to much damn pain so I just went to the nurses office. " Mr. Broadnax what's good with you son? Haven't seen you in her since your sophomore year. " the nurse said.

" I know. You think you can give me some painkillers and some ice please? " I asked her.

" Yes sir I sure can but please sit down. " she said.

I sat down and she wrapped my hand up and then she gave me some pain killers and a bag of ice. '' Well there you are. " she said.

" Thanks. " I said to her.

" No problem. " she said.

I walked out and seen that nigga that I fought and he looked worser than I did.

I went outside and seen Leah, Issa, Khalil, Kira, Bobby, Chris, Tevin, and Kionna with some dude.

I walked up to Issa and Leah and asked Leah " Aye Leah who that nigga Kionna talking to? "

" Him. Oh that's Dontavious. " Leah said.

" And why is she talking to him? " I asked.

" Damn what she can't talk to other niggas after all them little thirsty hoes yo ass be talking to and well after you pushed her and me an her both fell Dontavious helped her up and he also took care of her hand so she wouldn't of had to go to the nurse. " Leah said.

" First off there's a difference in what I do. I talk to other girls but her. Shes over there smiling and laughing in the nigga face like she ain't got a dude. " I said.

" It's the same damn thing Kionna just don't say shit to you cause she trust you. " Leah argued.

I looked over and Kionna was literally feeling on the nigga. He put his arm around her and then they started walking over to us. Kionna was laughing at whatever he had said to her and when they got to us Khalil said " What's up with you Dontavious? "

" Nothing much man. Just ready to graduate. " he said.

" Right. " Issa said dapping the dude up.

" Well Kionna I'm gone holler at you later. My girl probably looking for me." Dontavious said.

" Okay and thank you again for helping with my hand. '' Kionna said smiling all in his face.

" No problem ma. I ain't want you going all the way inside to go to the nurse when I could've helped you. " he said.

Kionna nodded and smiled at him again and he walked off. Kionna went and sat by Leah and Kira like I wasn't even there.

" Oh what you don't see me no more I mean damn you flirting with another nigga in my face. " I said.

She looked at me up and down then smacked her teeth and pulled out her headphones and phone.

" Kionna I know you not mad cause I pushed you. " I said.

She ignored me and put her headphones in her ear. I hated what I was about to do to her but she left me with no choice. I snatched her earbuds out of her ears and then I grabbed her by her arm and pulled her to a more quieter place and somewhere where nobody could see us. Kionna was trying to break loose but let's face it I was stronger than her so ain't no way in hell she was getting out of my grasp.

Once I finally got to where I wanted us to be I somewhat threw her. When I did that she hit her head on the brick wall and she looked at me with pure hate in her eyes. She then slapped me on the side where my jaw was hurting and that made it hurt even worse cause cause Kionna hits hard as hell. I mean she ain't even punch me and I was hurting. " WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM PUTTING YOUR DAMN HANDS ON ME LIKE THAT!! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY THAT DAMN JEALOUS THAT YOU HAD TO DO THAT LIKE FOR REAL BRUH MY DAMN HEAD HURTS LIKE HELL CAUSE OF THAT!!! " she yelled in my face.

" Let me look at your head. '' I said calmly trying my best to get my anger under control cause I really didn't want to hit her.

" Fuck you. " she said.

"Kionna just let me look at your head. I want to make sure it's not bleeding. " I said.

" My head is fine. It just hurts. " she said with tears in her eyes.

" Kionna. " I said stepping closer to her.

No sooner I stepped closer to her she took off running like she was in the Olympics or something and I took running after her. I wasn't about to let Kionna go like that. Yeah I was wrong and I shouldn't put my hands on her and I'll man up and take responsibility for mistakes.

- KIONNA POV -

" KIONNA!!! KIONNA WAIT!! " I heard Que yell after me but I just picked up my pace and ran even faster.

When I say I ran all the way to Kira's house I mean that shit. Hell I almost got hit 3 times and almost cause 2 wrecks but I didn't care I just had to get away. Once I got in the house I closed the door and slid down and stated crying. I mean Que really just put his hands on me for no damn reason and my head is killing me cause when he let me go his like threw me and I hit my head on that brick wall. As bad as I didn't want to go back to school I had to.

I went upstairs to change into some basketball shorts a tank top, and a hoodie then I put on my Adidas slides.

I stepped outside and that's when I seen Issa's car pull up. Leah and Kira got out and they both ran to me.

" Omg Kionna how did you get here? " Kira asked me.

" I ran. " I answered.

" You want to talk about it? " Leah asked.

" Not really. " I said shaking my head.

" Okay. Come on let's get back to school. " Kira said.

We rode back to school in silence and once we got back I saw that I had 20 minutes left of free period so I went to the gym to play basketball.

When I got to the gym nobody was there but the gym teacher and I asked him if it was okay for me to play and he said it was fine.

I was in Math class and Ms. Henry wasn't there due to the fact that she was getting married so we had a sub. I had my head down and then Khalil tapped me talking bout " You got a pencil? "

I took a pencil out my hoodie and gave it to him and he asked " What's wrong with you? "

" Nothing. I'm just not feeling good that's all. " I lied.

" Oh okay well I'll leave you alone then shawty. " he said.

It felt like school had went by so slow and when it was over I walked to my car and drove where ever my heart led me to.
