Several minutes later, Mark pulled up outside the forest, parking where he normally did. He looked towards Seán, who was fiddling with his jacket nervously, and frowned. He reached a hand out to lay over his boyfriend's own, which were shaking.

"What's wrong?" Mark said, worried. Seán snapped his head up at the man's voice, eyebrows raised, but lowered it back down as he realized what was going on.

"Nothing, I'm just..." he shrugged, blowing out a breath, "nervous, I guess."

Nervous? Why the hell would he be nervous? Mark's frowned deepened. He shouldn't be. "Why are you nervous, love? You shouldn't be." He chuckled, trying to ease a bit of the younger's nerve. "It's okay if you are, I mean, but," he shrugged, "we're both gonna be wolves, and I'm gonna be by your side the whole time."

Seán shook his head. "It's not that." He sighed, gnawing on his lip and mumbling, "I just..." Seán then put his face in his hands, which caused Mark to worry even more. He wanted to help his boyfriend, but he couldn't if he didn't know what was going on, and he felt terrible for not knowing. "It's not important."

"I'm sure it is, darling," he said softly, reaching across and setting his hand on Seán's knee. When he didn't get a reaction, he sighed and continued, "but you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I won't pressure you into saying it right now; take your time."

Seán looked up, smiling softly as tears brimmed his eyes. He huffed, leaning forward and kissing the elder. "Thank you," he mumbled after he'd pulled back. "I love you."

"I love you, too," Mark cooed, grinning widely as his cheeks heated up. "Now, how about we go for that run, yeah?"

The younger nodded. "Yeah." Both men opened their doors and Seán walked around to Mark's side after he'd shut his own, standing in front of him and smiling softly at him as he bounced on his toes. "Ya know, despite how exhausted I am, it still feels nice to get some fresh air. Plus," he poked Mark's cheek, confusing the man, "I'll finally get to see your wolf form." He laughed, watching as Mark began pulling his shirt over his head. "I bet you're huge."

"Oh, you already know that," Mark retorted, wiggling his eyebrows and causing his boyfriend to blush. He unbuttoned his pants and pulled them down, throwing them on the driver's seat of his car.

"Shut up," the other mumbled, fiddling with the bottom of his jacket. When he saw Mark beginning to take his underwear off, he blushed brighter and turned away, taking his own hoodie off.

(Mark found it adorable how, even though they'd seen each other naked a countless number of times now, his boyfriend was still awkward when they saw each other naked while not in heat/rut.)

They undressed until they were both naked, staring into the trees. Seán sighed.

"I'm glad my eyesight gets better when I change." He chuckled, glancing over at Mark. "That way I don't have to wear these," he said, raising the glasses that were in his hand. He turned and placed them on the pile of clothes, shutting the door when Mark told him to.

"I don't think you could wear them as a wolf," Mark chuckled out. He sighed, looking back into the forest. "You ready then?"

Seán nodded, humming. "I am." He began to shift form, landing on all-fours, and Mark followed suit. When Mark finished his transformation, he looked over to his mate, opening his mouth and allowing his tongue to lull out. He noticed that Seán was much smaller than him in wolf-form, as he'd expected; Omega wolves tend to be a lot smaller than Alpha ones.

"Aw, you're so smol," Mark joked, walking forward and nudging his snout into the brown fur behind his boyfriend's ear. He noticed the smell from earlier was much stronger now, but put it off on them actually being in their "real" forms now.
