On the third day of Mark's rut, everything was the same--except for the fact that the Alpha was being a tad bit more rough than normal. He was also a bit more touchy, as well--in his manic state, he'd been roaming his hands around the Omega more, and he'd been frantically stuffing his nose into his neck more as well.

Seán didn't really mind that Mark was a bit more rough than usual, no--he just found it a bit odd. One moment, he'd been pushed down onto the elder's bed gently, and then the next he'd been thrown down instead. The younger had a feeling he knew what was going on, but he didn't want to say anything just in case he was wrong.

Right now, it was around five in the afternoon and both men were sitting on Mark's bed while the elder ate a bowl of ramen (he'd microwaved it, of course--he didn't have the time to actually cook it, plus he didn't want to do that much work). Mark was sitting with his legs crossed Indian-style in front of him, one hand holding up the plastic bowl of ramen, and Seán sat with his legs stretched out in front of him, head leaned back against the headboard. Both men were naked, but it's not like it mattered or anything, as they'd been seeing each other like that for the past few days now.

Seán sighed. "My ass hurts."

Mark frowned, dropping his fork into his bowl and turning his head to stare at his boyfriend. Said boyfriend was pouting, his tongue poking from the corner of his mouth as he stared down at the leg he was rubbing. Mark wanted to question why he was rubbing his leg instead of his ass, but he chose not to.

"I'm sorry, love," he apologized, reaching his free hand over and patting the younger's knee, which caused him to glance up at Mark and raise both eyebrows.

"No, it's okay, shit happens." Seán chuckled, shrugging. He laid his hand down on Mark's own, wrapping his fingers around the elder's. "I'm just being a whiny babber."

Mark laughed, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "Babber? Is that supposed to be, like, 'baby' or something?" At Seán nod, he laughed again. "Well okay then. You're not though." He grinned reassuringly. "You have a justifiable reason to complain."

Seán chuckled, rolling his eyes with a smile on his face. "Thanks."

"No problem," Mark cheered, leaning over to peck his boyfriend's cheek. He turned back and grabbed his fork from his bowl once again, shoving a glob of noodles into his mouth and chewing languidly. He looked over to Seán when he'd started laughing, raising an eyebrow and letting out a muffled, "What?"

"You have a noodle sticking from your mouth," Seán chimed, giggling and grinning widely. He reached forward and plucked the noodle from where it had landed on the elder's chin, placing it back into his bowl. "There ya go."

"Thanks, love," Mark said, mouth still full as he chewed. He then swallowed his mouthful, frowning afterwards and mumbling, "It's about to start back up again."

Seán sighed, laying down flat on Mark's bed and setting his hands behind his head. "At least try to finish your food before then, this time." He chuckled. "You remember what happened."

Mark laughed, nodding. "Yeah, I do; that milk stain is still on my carpet. In fact, I can see it from here," he joked, stretching his body to look over the foot of his bed.

The younger laughed, stretching languidly and setting his hands on his stomach, intertwining his fingers. "Just eat your food, ya doofus." The man went back to eating his bowl of ramen with a pout on his face, slouching his back dramatically. After a while, he set the bowl down, laying down on his back as well and stretching out next to his boyfriend.

He glanced over to Seán, smiling gently as the younger looked at him as well. "Hey," he muttered, voice soft. He shut his eyes gently, breathing out.
