Immediately, Frank's mom walked in.

"Is this Gerard, Frankie?" She asked, pointing to Gerard, who halfway raised his hand and gave the janitor smile (you know what I'm talking about, that small fake smile you give to the janitors as they pass you in the hallway) "Yeah, Ma. That's him..." Frank awkwardly replied.

"Hello, Mrs. Iero!" Gerard kindly greeted. "You can call me Linda, dear." Gerard nodded his head. "Well, if you need anything, I'll be in the living room!" She called, walking out of Frank's room. When she left Frank sat down on his bed and gestured Gerard to do the same. Once they were both seated, Frank spoke up.

"So... How late do you usually stay up...?" Frank asked, breaking the awkward silence.

"I don't know... How late do you stay up?" Gerard nervously replied

"However late you stay up, Gee." Frank smiled an put his hand on top of Gerard's hand, which was resting on the bed.

"Well, we have school tomorrow..." Gerard doesn't get much sleep, but he didn't want to prevent Frank from getting a good nights rest.

"That doesn't mean anything, c'mon. We don't even have to sleep for all I care. Fuck school, you're more important!" Frank slightly raised his voice for the last sentence, somehow keeping a monotone voice.

"You can go to bed whenever, you're tired, baby..." Gerard said, kissing Frank's cheek and then rubbing his back for a few momentary seconds.

"We could... Watch a movie or something." Frank said, pointing to the TV that was in front of a couch he had in the corner of his room.

"Sure, do you have Nightmare Before Christmas or a horror movie like 50 Shades Of Grey?" Gerard suggested.

"Uh, I try to stay away from those really scary movies, they give me nightmares!" Frank shivered, "But we do have Nightmare Before Christmas..."

Frank stood up and shuffled over to the entertainment center, which the TV was placed on top of. He opened up a drawer and pulled out the DVD. He carefully plopped it in to the DVD player and pressed pause, so it wouldn't play just yet, and he grabbed a blanket for the two of them to share.

"Come over here, Gee" Frank pointed to the couch, and sat down on the right side. Gerard sat on the left side, but as far over as he possibly could. Like, almost falling off the couch. Frank pressed play, and looked over at Gerard, confused.

"Hey..." Frank whispered, scooting closer to Gerard.

"Sorry..." Gerard whispered back, putting his arm around Frank.

They watched the movie for about an hour. The entire time both Gerard and Frank were distracted, wanting the other to make a move. But, neither of them did, until Frank started to lay down, setting his head in Gerard's lap. Slowly, being sure not to disturb Frank, Gerard because to lay down, too. Gerard was behind and Frank was in front. They watched the remains of the movie like that, then the screen went black. By then, it was about 8 o'clock. Gerard noticed Frank was going to fall off the couch, so he grabbed him before he had the chance. This woke up Frank, who was apparently napping. He was scared at first, but then realized what had happened.

"Here..." Gerard said, twisting his body so it was more comfortable for both of them to sleep. It was really early, still, though. Frank wrapped his arms around Gerard's torso, and intertwined his legs with Gerard's, as well. Gerard reached around Frank's upper back and held on to him so he wouldn't (almost) fall off again. Frank was basically clinging onto Gerard for dear life, even though he wasn't falling. Frank fell asleep almost immediately, and surprisingly, Gerard fell asleep shortly after.

It was 6am. Linda noticed the boys weren't up yet because the light was still off (she could tell from the crack under the door) so she decided to wake them up so they wouldn't be late for school. She slowly opened up the door...

"Goodmor-" She said quietly... Although her voice didn't stay quiet for long.

"Frank!?" She raised her voice, startling both Frank and Gerard.

"Wha-what?" Frank coughed, rubbing his eyes.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" She was really fucking yelling now... Making Frank uncomfortable.

Gerard quickly noticed that Frank was getting anxious, so Gerard spoke up, "It was cold last night, so we had to share a blanket."

She (finally) lowered her voice, "O-oh. Well then, my bad. Get ready, boys. You gotta head off to school shortly!"

When she left the room Frank ran over to Gerard and hugged him, "Thanks for saving my ass..."

They both got ready for school and walked outside, getting into Frank's car. Gerard would come and pick up his car from Frank's house later. Frank didn't start the car, but instead got his phone out.

"Before we leave, I want to text my mom and tell her, y'know... The whole shebang." Gerard nodded, with approval.

Sent.

"Alright, Gee. Time for school. I can drive you back to my house after school so you can get your car..."

"Thanks, that'd be great."

And then they drove off to school, going to their separate classes, and not seeing eachother until the end of the day, as usual.

Sorry, kind of short chapter with no texting? I know this is like false advertising, but a lot of texting will be happening soon, I swear!
