*2 Days Later*
Lunch time at school, but I hadn't talked to my Bae-Boo personally in 2 days. I don't know what was his decision on the business, but I'm not gonna ask either.
I drove over to his place for a quick surprise.
*Knock, Knock, Knock*
It took a while, so I knocked again.
I heard the locks unlocking and saw his wet body. The tattoos on his arms glistened from the shower he just got out of. He only has on a towel to cover his torso. Right above the towel is his V-Cut and sexy ass 'Happy Trail'.
"What? You can't call?"
I looked up from the towel and snapped back to reality.
"Can I come in?"
He moved aside and I went straight to his kitchen to grab a snack.
"Damn, girl. I don't get no love?"
I gave him a kiss and started to eat a granola bar that I'd found.
"You only came for food?"
I followed him back to his bedroom.
"No. I really wanted to see you."
"You're not acting like it."
"Because of what you're dressed in. I don't wanna be late for class. I don't wanna be late for anything, matter of fact."
"Hahahaha. Nobody thinking about that but you."
"If I answered the door for you with only lingerie on, you'd be quick to do the same thing."
He unwrapped his towel and slid on some boxers. I'm not looking, though!
"Probably would be."
I paid attention to TV because there was nothing to say.
"What you wanna do for Valentine's Day next week?"
"Nothing. I hate to celebrate things other than God."
"Why? You the first girl I know to be like this."
"Because it's a waste of time."
"But I wanna do something.."
"You're the first guy I know to actually care about it."
"Then we gonna do something."
"You want me to surprise you?"
"Haha. Nah. I'll plan every--"
His phone interrupted him.
"Hello?..Who is this?.....When?.....I'll meet you there."
He put on some sweats with his J's.
"Elle, I gotta go somewhere. Lock up when you leave."
"Wait. What's wrong? Where are you going?"
"That night with Kilani from Whyte Diamondz called me. She's pregnant. I gotta go right now."
"Hold on! How do you even know that you have a good chance of being the father? She could've been sleeping around."
"I'll talk to you about it another time. I gotta leave right now and work tonight. You can sleep over tomorrow."
With that, he left and his words from the other day echoed throughout my mind.
"If I bring a child in this world, you might as well say me and the baby-momma married."
